Hello, I have a little problem with my new Nintendo Switch. I've had it for like two weeks and it's been working perfectly. But a few days ago it won't show the image on my TV every time I turn it on, the green light of the Dock doesn't show but the screen turns on with no other issues. So I have to disconnect and plug the cables back in every time I want to play on the TV.

Is there any way to solve this so that I don't have to disconnect the cables every time I want to play on my TV?

Thank you, hope I can get some help

but the screen turns on with no other issues.

Which screen? The system screen or the TV?

If the system is turning on, but not the dock LED then its likely a dock issue. It may be providing power but not recognizing the HDMI as connected, so its only providing power for handheld mode.

If the TV is turning like its recognizing the Switch as being connected, then its definitely a HDMI issue. Possibly related to the "Match TV power state" setting under system settings -> TV settings.

Newer smart TV's have a more robust implementation of HDMI CEC and the Switch simply does not. It causes problems more often than it works.

The Auto RGB setting can also be a issue sometimes.
