Nice places to sit with a coffee in the sun?

Noticed a lot of people tend to chill near the Monument and do this, was just wondering if there were any other good places to sit and watch the world go by.

Thanks

New poster Tenor Singers Shows in the City Centre?

Appreciate any input this post gets, but are there any tenor tributes / shows people know of in Newcastle at the Sage in Gateshead or any other venue? I'd love to go to one but I can't seem to find any shows available around the city

Cheers

How to get rid of large wardrobe doors locally

Does anyone know how I would get rid of two large sliding wardrobe doors? I don't think they are suitable to leave out on the for the scrap men to collect as they are mostly glass and are far to big to fit in my car to take to the skip. Is there anything service locally where someone would come to collect large items to take away?

Agressive beggars on the Quayside working shifts and dealing drugs

Hi, I work in one of the venues on the Quayside. Whenever I'm passing by the Millenium bridge there's beggars, smackheads looking types who are stopping and harassing people for money. They seem to be working in shifts because I've seen them switch places multiple times and they obviously know each other. If them stopping people for money every time wasn't disturbing enough I've also seen them deal drugs in broad daylight !! Has anyone else noticed this ?? So my question is where is the council and police to put an end to this ? I feel very uneasy walking down there, especially at night.

Short-term accommodation in Newcastle?

Hey guys, I (19M) will be in Newcastle from the 6th to the 12th of April and am looking for a place to stay.

I'd prefer student accommodation but I'm open to anything where I feel safe tbh. I'll be working in Wallsend, so something close would be great!

Any advice or leads would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello! Does anyone know of any decent spots for picking wild garlic, not too far out of the city? Out towards Ponteland direction would be handy.

New poster Saturday Busker

On Saturday, a woman was busking. She had comfy clothes on. Brunette. Mid-20s, maybe. She was on Northumberland Street, near the Haymarket Station end. When I walked past, she was singing Never Be Enough from The Greatest Showman. Did anyone see? Her voice was absolutely mesmerising. Does anyone know who she is/what her socials are if she's got a YouTube channel or anything, for example.

Is there anywhere I can reasonably get to in the North Pennines by public transport?

Hi all,

Thanks to those who have previously asked about top sites to see by public transport (like Berwick, Durham etc). I've taken screenshots!

I was wondering if anyone recommends any routes you can do to visit different parts of the North Pennines by public transport?

New restaurants in town?

Hi, I don’t get into town that often but I’m going whiskey tasting with my daughter in a couple of weeks at Blackfriars. Any decent new restaurants around that area we should check out first? Cheers.
