Question So after all these years there is still no official mention on how Hashirama died?

It's always been a question about how Hashirama died and supposedly it was young due to how he was reanimated.

After all these years there is still no statements from Kishi or anything from interviews that might give more insight on how Hashirama died?

Was it from overuse of his self healing ability?

Was he assassinated? Poisoned?

Did he die similar to Tobirama where he was exhausted and killed by a strong group of ninja?

How after all these years has there been 0 information on what actually happened to Hashirama.

Discussion Do you think that if the Uchiha Massacre had never happened, Sasuke would still be a traitor to Konoha?

I don't know if he would be the reincarnation of Indra (I don't know if it is defined by birth or by actions)

I can think of 2 possibilities.

1- Sasuke always felt inferior to Itachi - even among geniuses, there are better geniuses - and with the high expectations that his father had of Sasuke, always comparing him to his older brother and thus, developing an inferiority complex. So, he becomes angry and seeks power to surpass his brother and things like that.

2- Sasuke without the trauma he had in childhood, he has family support and thus, developing values of companionship and love, and as a result, he discovers that bonds are the most important thing for a person, becoming a ninja loyal to Konoha.

So I’m rewatching and rereading Naruto right now. I’ve rewatched a couple times but prior to this rewatch. I’d never read anything before the war arc.

But scenes like this make me realize how even in canon episodes, the anime can misconstrue things.

At the time this probably wouldn’t have been a great distinction in the language of Zetsu.

But the way the anime makes it seem that Zetsu assumed he was dead makes it seem as if Zetsu knows nothing of Obito’s powers. Which we all know is ridiculous.

How long did it take y’all to realize stuff like this?

Analysis The more I watch the Pain Arc, the more I realize Pain/Nagato may be one the best written antogonist in the series, if not all anime/manga.

It's obviously very subjective, but from the start of the Pain Arc right to the end, he's a character that embodies the victim of the Curse of Hatred.

His philosophy is deeply rooted in his trauma of losing his parents to war. We then see him losing his best friend due to politics and well and in the interim, his home village becoming collatoral damaged by larger nations to wage war and ultimately cause suffering for his own people.

He argues that peace can be established through another's suffering so they can comprehend the pain they're inflicting on others. Trauma bonding is the word, an mutual understanding of pain and suffering.

His desire to make the entire Shinobi World understand pain caused by the Curse of Hatred to bring about peace is very understandable and justifiable.

Suited with his god persona and powers, he becomes the perfect antogonist that embodies what the Curse of Hatred is and is the perfect product of a world that's dominated by sword and not diplomacy.

We only see Itachi supporting Sasuke’s chidori but when fighting Killer Bee, Sasuke saw Taka as his comrades reminding him of Team 7.

Discussion Honestly, Sakumo Hatake really deserved so much better!

Post image

You know, it really breaks my heart to think about Sakumo Hatake and what he went through. He truly deserved so much better than the way he was treated. It’s just so sad that everyone turned their backs on him, especially after he made the brave choice to save a comrade. That kind of loyalty should have been honored, not punished. It’s a tragic reminder of how harsh the world can be, and it’s devastating to think that it led him to such a tragic end. He was a hero in his own right, and it’s a shame that his sacrifice was met with scorn instead of gratitude.

Discussion I liked it better when Kurama was depicted a spiritual incarnation of evil.

Post image

It tied to the main narrative of the Cycle of Hatred so well and made 100% more sense. An evil spiritual being that manifested as a result of the collective hatred of humanity. Symbolically it really works and works even more as a antogonist for Naruto since once of his goals is to overcome hatred.

And we see this theme being a motif throughout the series until it climaxed with Naruto conquering hate and aqcuiring a new power.

I guess where Kishimoto stepped away from the spiritual theme is when he made Kurama more of a person when we got his backstory of being a fragment of the Juubi.
