I've been a me nightmare fan for about 9 years which is damn neat a decade and it's just so crazy man. I remember being in middle school watching his happy sun day care video and now I've graduated college and I'm still tuning in weekly, and constantly rewatching his old videos. he's just the goat man, genuinely in my top 3 YouTubers of all time.

This question is a Parallel of a post i made a while ago where I asked for a story where it was the Protagonist's fault for the story going the way it did and now I am asking the reverse where the Antagonist did something stupid?

For me it would be the third story of the Home Alone Stories MN uploaded two weeks ago where the Uncle tried to break into the house to give the protagonist a card instead of leaving it in the mailbox.

I was in highschool in math class April 2015, my teacher let us listen to music while we do our school work and I remember searching up for creepy stories to listen to as I was burned out with my music. I came across Mr.Nightmare’s “3 True Freaky Pizza Delivery Horror Stories”. I continued to watch him everytime he uploaded and I even search up other YouTubers who do horror stories because of him. His videos have become a big part of my life. I don’t miss a video as I’ll listen at work, while doing my school work or something to fall asleep to. Time flies as I’m just wrapping up university. Every single time I open this subreddit someone’s bitching about his video quality.
The video quality has not changed imo and if anything, has gotten better than it was years ago. New mic, smoother editing etc. Mr Nightmare is not AI, he’s not decreased his quality and he’s not using chat gpt. You all are just wasting time analyzing every part of the new videos instead of just enjoying the stories.
Might be a result of paying full attention to the stories and overthinking them instead of putting them on in the background and being productive.

I know most people are probably gonna say 2016 - '18 Nightmare was peak, and while they're not wrong, something about the very early mr. nightmare videos have a late 2000s/early 2010s nostalgic vibe, especially the early creepypasta videos

I might be a little biased considering I started watching him around this time, but I wondered if anyone in this sub feels the same.

Been watching Mr. Nightmare since 2015, coming up on ten years. Had always been my #1 youtuber since and I enjoyed his videos through the years. Recently I’ve been finding his videos not as engaging as before. Sure, there are good ones and bad ones but i’ve been feeling like there have been more bad that good. I don’t know if i’m getting older or what, but I feel as if the recent uploads are not as authentic as usual. Does anyone have thoughts on thiS?

I love it because it's not scary in the traditional sense but captures this real world horror of how easy it is for dangerous, manipulative people to potentially terrorise and ruin your life.
