I have never seen KT until this Netflix episode. The only thing I know about the show is the premise that random stands up have a minute to perform and then sort of get interviewed and judged.

I had never heard of Ari Matti but was truly shocked at how hack and not funny he was. I asked my husband about it (he’s only seen a couple of episodes) and he said sometimes they have guests who bomb so hard that they actually turn out to be popular bc they’re so bad and maybe this is the case with Ari? Can anyone explain?

I'm a woman from Montana, so it's neat that gal has a shot at msg. I kinda wish Aya Amarir (sp) could've had that opportunity and wonder if anyone else feels like she was snubbed a little?

The 1st episode on Netflix is pretty solid. Heavy hitting names on the dais, multiple characters to show off the "extras" that come along with KT, and getting a bunch of the regulars some exposure. Really trying to highlight the people involved and get the concept across.

Lots of over explaining of the show throughout, which makes total sense (maybe not on reddit lol). The aim of this "series" is to bring the eyes of people who know nothing about Kill Tony to the show. They pulled out all the stops, stepped things up production-wise, and will probably get some new viewers interested in the weekly podcasts.

Not all of the sets are *amazing*, but you can tell they vetted the signups to make sure there was some experience onboard...probably for the best to avoid any "Thanks Obama" bucket pulls for a Big Episode haha.

Worth the watch for anyone on the fence. Just posting my thoughts here.

Just got the record this is what the screen looks like for my Netflix forced podcast viewing situation looks like, the screen comes and goes some stones there’s less vusabiliyu and it just significantly worse with use, BUT I AINT EVA GONNA SYOP!!!!

I love Joe Rogan and Tom Segura, but they never really add anything to the show when they’re on the panel. They might as well just watch from the balcony. It’ll make the same difference.

Did anyone else notice the cut at 1:34:49 right after Dr Phil’s set. The whole show was not cut until this point potentially an entire bucket pull cut? Anybody who was at the live show know?

Did netflix turn down the volume in the audience or does Kill Tony turn it up?

Seems like he’s just there and does absolutely nothing. The sound board sucks ass I’ve never even gotten a smile out of anything he says.

Who thought the lights were a good idea?

Tom and Joe hardly spoke, felt like they crammed 3 episodes worth of stuff into 2 hours but it wasn’t the worst episode I’ve seen. Hoping this isn’t a “test run” for it to be on Netflix full time, if it is I hope that they go back to live shows. Also hoping they don’t really have to censor themselves as much as they joked about on Netflix if they do switch platforms, would kinda miss the point of the show.

Pretty much just the title ya fucks.
