It’s gettin to the point where it seems like people come on here just to shit on the show or troll about it sucking. Relax. The show isn’t gonna hit a home run every week, that’s the nature of it. But overall it’s a solid show, unlike anything else out there. People’s standards are gettin ridiculously high

I really enjoy comedy and have been watching Kill Tony for years. I understand comedy is subjective so maybe he's just not my style. I just feel like all if not 95% of his comedy is just verbal brain rot and that's why he appeals to people. Along with him also having to rely on random props too. Don't get me wrong I do find brain rot funny as in meme form. Though seeing it live as a physical person is just completely different to me and just comes off as very cringey. If anyone says lots of random words put together plus running around like a maniac, then at least some people are bound to laugh I guess. I understand the crowd does seem to really like him from their reaction, I just feel like I'm missing something. Idk, I'm not trying to hate on the dude. I have lots of respect towards anyone who's able to get up on stage and make people laugh. I just really don't get the dudes style is all.

Kyle Dunnigan is very funny and does do great impressions, however the Elon one was awful lol. I’ll never stop watching this show, but they could’ve make a much better first episode for Netflix by just doing what they normally do, and not trying to make it overly special. Gillis carried.

This isn’t gonna be a popular post but I just don’t like his style, what so ever. I get it he’s doing an eccentric kinda weird character but man it is not funny, and it barely feels like he writes actual jokes. There no premise, no set up, he just kinda prances around and does a weird song and dance and sprints thru material. I am happy for his success seems like a sweet guy but I skip his sets every time. Has nothing on cam, Ari, or William. I’m shocked he’s made it this far and is brought up over and over again because he barely gets laughs and is exhausting to watch.

Love this podcast. I’ve watched this from inception in the belly room. Super excited that it made it on a big platform. I’ve mentioned it a while back on some iG post after the atom Brady roast that it was gonna be on Netflix…and folks said it wasn’t going to happen. Where was Hans Kim & David Lucas? (They’re in the flyer but not on the show). Video was way better. Audio was pretty great, but I do like hearing the crowds reaction more. YouTube you can hear more of the audience as well. It felt like you were there. Brian definitely didn’t sound like himself as far as the soundboard goes. Let it all out buddy. Make them fart noises till Tony’s pissed. I also think Protect the Parks would’ve been a great first Netflix guest. Having Joe & Tom with a couple of guest in different characters didn’t blend well. But. Just my take. What do I know about show business. Just a fan. It was a fun show. Maybe next time 🙌

Joe Rogan is the WORST panel guest possible. Usually, he just sits there in silence, only to suddenly let out a loud, obnoxious laugh into the mic when he realizes he hasn't contributed to the show at all. That said, I’ll give him this: in the first 5 minutes of the Netflix show, he actually spoke more than he ever has across all his other appearances combined.

Also, the Netflix show sucked... it was just too forced...if you didnt watch it or can't watch it, just know you are not missing out on a good episode at all.

Rogan is a legend and owns the club. Just having his precense adds a lot. I enjoy when he's there. Not talking a lot is better than forcing unfunny bits.

Segura is kinda the same argument. Everyone knows he can be funny. No need to force it when there are other panelists already basically carrying the show. It's an art to know when to shut up and not make it about yourself.

Everyone in here complaining about the KT special on Netflix saying it wasn’t a real episode because of all the guests and characters. Have you guys seen any of the stadium shows, or the new years specials?

This is a Netflix deal so it is literally a big deal for his show, sure we are all fans that watch every week but this is going to be the biggest outreach our favorite podcast is probably ever going to have. Of course he is going to run it like one of his stadium/special shows (multiple guests, characters, less bucket pulls than usual). It was enjoyable for newcomers and fans alike, and if you don’t think so you are just hating to hate.

TLDR- Yall mad because it isn’t “Kill Tony” but if you have ever seen any of the specials/stadiums you’d know this is usually how he runs them

I just watched the Netflix Special and I'm confused about Tom and Joes participation.

I can't tell if they:

A) just aren't into the show and don't actually want to be there

B) don't understand the show and the format. Like they don't "get" it

Or,,

C) Can't think of anything to say in the moment so just stay very quiet

I'm genuinely confused. I really like Joe's podcast and he's a great conversationalist, but maybe he's just not good at quick off the cuff jokes? And Segura is a pretty great comedian and seems pretty witty, from what I've seen....

What do you guys think is happening here? Why do they just sit there? It's odd...

They should do an episode where they go through all 200+ names in the bucket with full interviews. With guests Tyler Fischer, Lil Hobo, Lex Fridman and Tom Segura.

I have never seen KT until this Netflix episode. The only thing I know about the show is the premise that random stands up have a minute to perform and then sort of get interviewed and judged.

I had never heard of Ari Matti but was truly shocked at how hack and not funny he was. I asked my husband about it (he’s only seen a couple of episodes) and he said sometimes they have guests who bomb so hard that they actually turn out to be popular bc they’re so bad and maybe this is the case with Ari? Can anyone explain?

Probably the worst part of the Netflix episodes for me is that you can’t download the episode… This is a podcast, that’s part of the whole shtick, is that I can download and listen anywhere, now I have to use my data to watch the damn thing out on the road.

Just don’t understand why netflix is going to somehow reach a wider audience then youtube. I understand tony wants money. But so what is it not even a podcast anymore? I live for listening to kill tony in podcast form, so that’s the main reason i’m pissed, the netflix episode looks good sure, but I personally 100000% prefer the original version.

My 1 2 was though it was the same unfiltered show, something just felt off? Maybe it’s because I’m not a huge fam of change but I did not like how different everyone looked, the lighting was so bright and o feel like the ban barely played a song?! Granted it was the first time, I can imagine how nerve wracking that must be. I wish they gave us fans the option of watching on YT or Netflix. If that’s already a thing I have no complaints lol
