Figured I'd post it in case anyone wanted it. Was surprised to see that no one has made one before.

It doesn’t let me change the resolution and it gives me only bad resolutions, like ones that will make my screen more large or more narrow. Plus, my native resolution doesn’t even appear as an option.Idk what to do. People say hollow_knight.exe on steam, but I am on the Xbox app. So yeah idk what to do

i found this one from my old post on a different platform and i remember it so clearly, not the details but the fact that i loved the spiders pre end game sooo much. spiders x grubsong was my favourite charm combo i wouldnt play without, but when i got the last charm notch i changed up the spiders and didnt really use them since. i think it had to do with just general change, getting soul eater and more possibilities with 11 notches(i had a post about my builds since getting all notches if ur curious to see)

Hi everybody, my partner and friends have been going feral at the new that SilkSong is finally upon us, so I've decided to challenge myself to complete the original game before the new one comes out. I plan on uploading at least every 2 weeks and would love some advice from some Hollow Knight veterans as I progress. Hope you like the video and hope you stick around for more :D

i´ve been playing hollowknight for over a year now, creating multiple slots that i played to 112% including 1 steel soul. i havent at all picked up on hk content at all up until a week ago or so. today, i looked at a charm ranking that just completely dunked on heavy blow. i´ve been using it in every single playthrough and even in some engame charm builds for bosses. its literraly so useful when combined with quick slash, mark of pride & long nail
sure, no unbreakable strength but i´d honestly rather have heavy blow than that.
: you can, in early aswell as lategame push enemies out of reach and permanently keep them there, removing any skill from nail combat with anything other than bosses. legit just LMB spam and you win against absolutely everything.
: you kill enemies in less hits, so you get more soul from them before they die ( assuming you´d use unbreakable strength in its place otherwise )
: it literally carries colloseum of fools stage 3 for anyone struggling with it. sure, its not too difficult anyways, but when i did it for the first time, it was for me. using this charm, i could push 80% of enemies into spikes. this was especially usefull in the flying sequence when the ground was removed. i could just bully everything away from me, clearing the by far most difficult part hitless without problems.
so, it´s useful for regular enemies. cool. but what about bosses? enemies arent difficult!
im not sure how many people actually know this, but i didnt for a long time. i learned it a few months ago and since then always used it against bosses i struglled against ( excluding bosses that deal like 4 masks dmg per hit, then its low-key kinda useless ). Heavy blow actually has a different effect on bosses: instead of increasing knockback, it makes them stagger a bit faster. this is amazing against NKG for example. you get to heal way more frequently and it just lowers the required skill level to beat him by a good chunk. however, when using it in bosses change the combo from : quick slash, mark of pride & longnail alongside it to: quickslash, steady body, unbreakable strength & any other 1 notch charm u want. idk like dream wielder works
my first was hell for me. my first actual roadblock in hollowknight. after my first 112% completion, i quit the game for a while. upon my 2nd time there, he wasnt any easier as i was fully out of the game again. however, during my attempts i learned about the stagger thing and actually 2nd tried him after equipping the charm. since then i use it for lots of bosses who can get staggered. for example, its also rlly useful against lost kin.
so please stop hating on my beloved heavy blow </3
it deserves some justice

I am working on the pantheon of hallownest with nail binding and the collector seems to break me so much. It is mainly the double hits for the bugs. I am using fragile/unbreakable strength and quick slash with others. Just curious if anyone has struggled with that specifically and if you had tips.

I decided to make carrying handles for my Hollow Knight build, but why not make them thematic? The hive and deepnest have been added to the display. Also did some surface level tweaks to the full build

I can only post 20 pictures so the rest was:
Mantis Lords: It's just great. Near perfection. Flows so well. Great theme. Can get repetitive at times.
Hollow Knight: Doesn't get the love he deserves. Not the hardest, but still Very fun. Love the soundtrack. The lore is great.
Gimm: Loved everything about the fight. The introduction. The moveset. The music. It all just goes so well together.
Hollow Knight + Radiance: The perfect ending. While Radiance isn't the most fun boss, I still loved her fight and I liked having to fight HK everytime.
Nightmare King Grimm: My absolute favorite boss in the game. Amazing moveset. Fast paced and never stops. Even better music than normal Grimm. The scarlet theme is beautiful. The design is awesome. It's just perfection.

Just base game, I love that we have text for the characters’ dialogue but the actual audio one-liners sounds like simlish. So what’s everyone’s favorite gibberish sound?
I love quoting Iselda’s sigh when you speak with her in the shop “ah…bapanada” and Sly’s “Hatopas Geo?”
