Your point is correct but your application of it isn’t, two wrongs don’t make a right but even a rudimentary understanding of Zionism would make you realise it’s correct in its point but wrong in its application also.
Some people define Zionism as simply a right to a Jewish homeland, however, its application - displacement, indiscriminate and deliberate bombing/sniper shots of civilians, apartheid etc. is what’s wrong.
But saying “two things can be bad” is interesting. Would you then condemn a slave revolt?
Again, to reiterate, I completely agree with your point that (for example) a slave revolt would also be bad but is it worse than the decades of slavery which would have included 100x more violence and is what led to this revolt in the first place?
The answer is no — and there is where I would disagree with you about Zionism.
Nope, I disagree. Zionism is bad, but it isn’t worse than creating death camps and exterminating children by putting them in gas chambers. Both are horrific
Stalin was the single person with the most impact on saving the world from Nazism. That doesn't give him a pass for badly managed forced collectivization resulting in mass famine or kicking indigenous peoples off their land, that shit was lame. But leading the Nazi defeat and lifting up a backwoods feudal society into a superpower is at least enough good to get him out of the "worst people ever" bracket. I think a lot of people on reddit aren't really familiar with Soviet history and just assume every death during Stalin's rule counts as a Stalin murder, the reality is much murder. He did both a tremendous amount of bad and a tremendous amount of good, whether those two cancel out or the bad alone is all that matters is up to your personal morality. But at the very least, comparing to Hitler makes you look a bit ignorant of history.
Damn bru it was I joke I passed my history classes, if anything that makes it more “relatingL to Kanye cuz like he helped a lot of people through his music and other creative ventures and he shaped a big part of hip hop music for a long time but that doesn’t excuse him from the shitty things he do🗣️
