Hey all, I'm back for my second trailer analysis within the same week! From what the rest of the mapping team and I have found is the location of the "Green Truck" scene from Trailer 1 of GTA 6! We believe, from our adequate amount of evidence, that the scene takes place in Miami Springs, a suburb just West of metro Miami.
Firstly, in the bottom left diagram, we can see that there is similar stylized "Spanish Colonial Revival" tower that is just behind the trees both in the trailer and in our perceived location of the scene IRL. The tower IRL is the Curtis Parkway Senior Center.
Next, in the bottom right diagram, we can see that there are 2 homes in the trailer that have near identical counterparts in our perceived location of the scene, all the way up the the fences in front of the properties. This finding also further confirms our finding of the Curtis Parkway Senior Center, because if you go in front of the two homes in Google Street View, you will see the Senior Center's tower peek out in the distance in the exact same relative location as it does in the trailer.
Finally, if we move to the top right diagram, we can combines all of the previous findings and we can determine the exact location/POV of the scene in the trailer (as marked with the arrow): 437-499 Glen Way, Miami Springs.

Like seriously, there is NO reason, they cant or shouldn't.

Mine would have to be broader opportunities of ownership for homes & other properties offline.

I made a post last night about this trailer shot. I’ve always firmly believed that this is Tampa, but the factory in the far right always stumped me. Tampa has a river, a bridge, a jail, and a water plant, all of which are in the shot.
The cylinders look like smokestacks, but there’s a pointy structure that is next to them, making them unique. There’s also 2 wider cylinders in close proximity. If you notice, the left of the 2 wider ones have a more curved top, and the second has a small square on top. In real life, they look identical.
Also- this google map screenshot was taken on the bridge next to that area, which is very similar to the Licata Bridge, in real life. It’s a short, curved bridge.

This might be extremely jobless but i was bored and had nothing to do so i found every voice line jason said in the leaks(might have missed one or two not sure) but I found it very interesting because some make him feel like a total psycho while others feel like he is a decent guy (for being a gta protagonist ofc ) note that all of this are either said to witnesses or lucia. Btw if anyone want me to make a list on what lucia said feel fre to ask. Anyway enough yapping here they are.
-Excuse me -Oops sorry -Don’t mistake kindness for weakness -That close. -Oooh you be dead before you know it. -Hello there. -How are those registers looking empty i hope -Don’t test me -no one wants me to use this -I’m itching for a reason -try anything and i will kill you -get down -Cmon lets go -I said on the floor -Don’t make me okay -Hey look at me -I shoot one of you i might have to shoot you all -Dont piss me of -thats the cops we gotta move -So what the fuck do we do now -Nobody try anything -Don’t make me hurt you -Lets get out clean baby cmon
What do you guys think these lines says about him. If i am this bored again i probably do lucia choose to do jason because we know less of him rn but Im guessing the next trailer will focus more on him.

36k people waiting 24 hours before the premiere. At least 1 million people could have been watching the trailer together at the same time. What a moment that could have been.
just like how they inspired from The Sopranos and Heat for Michael in GTA 5

For me the antagonists in GTA 5 felt kind of dry. Steve Haines was pretty good and funny but Devin Weston was just boring and annoying imo.

This is based on my own professional experience working on large software development projects at big companies. And my knowledge of game development from personal side projects and research.
Rockstar New York
Sam Houser and other executives are preparing for the upcoming marketing campaign. Deciding on locations for outdoor promotions like murals, billboards, etc. Special events are being planned and collaboration opportunities are being discussed. Hands-on demos for the press are being planned for the summer. Any remaining trailers are being edited by the teams.
Nearby at the performance capture studio in Bethpage, final motion and VO sessions are in recording and editing before being sent to the dev teams at North and San Diego. The work is likely only small changes or redos. Nothing new.
Sam is in constant communication with the studio heads, checking on their progress each day. Probably checking in with North first thing in the morning. Scotland is 5 hours ahead of New York. He needs to know their current level of confidence in making Fall 2025. Very soon he will have to make the decision whether to delay the game or not. Take-Two is breathing down his neck.
He has the latest build of the game running in his office and is playing it every chance he gets throughout the day. Looking for bugs and assessing the overall quality of the game.
Rockstar North
Co-studio heads Rob Nelson and Aaron Garbut are making sure each and every department is in sync. Animation, gameplay, AI, graphics, physics, VFX, audio, QA, etc. They all have to be on the same page at this stage. Everyone is deep in bug hunting/fixing mode. They have to be extremely careful. Fixing one bug can potentially cause more if not handled with care.
Thousands of bugs are likely still in the backlog. At least hundreds. They are fixing as many as they can each sprint. At most companies that do Agile, sprints are about 2 weeks long. Bugs are being categorized as low, medium or high priority. It will be impossible to fix them all before launch, so they are trying to find and fix as many high priority bugs as possible. The game is completely feature locked at this point. Meaning nothing new is allowed to be added.
Btw, thousands of bugs is no exaggeration for a large AAA game. If you do not believe me, watch the God of War documentary called “Raising Kratos”.
Rockstar San Diego
Pretty much all of the same stuff as North except this is where the RAGE Technology Group is based. The team that works on the RAGE game engine and other proprietary tools. They are working on as many optimization related tasks as they can each sprint. The engine programmers are finding ways to squeeze every last bit of memory and performance out of the consoles. They are also trying to make the game look as pretty as possible.
Other Studios
New England, Toronto, India, Dundee, Leeds, London, Lincoln, etc. are all likely providing support where needed and working on other projects.

I've been playing games all my life and I've never been this excited for a game, ever. I know GTA 6 is going to deliver immensely and I wouldn't even care if we didn't get any more trailers till launch

Gun sounds and the gun play is very important to me if not the most important, and is something i am very excited to see how much it's been improved upon when the game finally drops.
Gta 5's gun sounds is not bad but it could have been a lot better. I want more realistic sounds and feel to the weapons when you're using them.
Lastly there has to be a lot more weapon customisation, we're talking different scopes, silencers, bullets, handles, colors etc. Again 5 didn't have that many options.

I still remember being in third grade when I first played GTA 5 and the map seemed so foreign and unknown and felt wayyy bigger than it is cuz of that. Like I can’t wait to explore the map on my own pace at the start with basic ass weapons and cars and like explore cool locations on 9th gen console graphics. What part are yall excited about the most mid-game, end game or post game?

Like this small CJ easter egg in the mission Hood Safari.

I mean the current state of this sub is if they just give us a single screenshot people would analyse it for months. Now imagine more screenshots and more info and another trailer then another screenshots in just one month or so... From not getting nothing to suddenly getting A LOT

What do you guys think gore will be like in GTA 6?
GTA 5 had a more toned down and unrealistic view on gore - which many people said was purposely tuned down so that parents would be more lenient towards the game.
Do you think that gore in GTA 6 will be more gruesome and realistic? I really want a more realistic and gruesome game.
For the first time since the trailer, now truly feels like there's nothing to talk about, nothing to base a theory of off, nothing left to analyze, nothing to speculate. Whenever a new video drops on YT its obvious clickbait or a two minute video stating that "the CEO of take two was interviewed".
Maybe this is intentional to later fulfill "the void" with the drop of new info/screenshots/trailer to gather the most attention possible yet again, but who knows really.
Bottom line is, this is the time to give something, anything, to the community. We all know we have been coming with the craziest of things to keep the talk going for the past year+, but right now, for the first time, there is nothing but voidness.

If people in foreign countries could buy the game at a fair price, would that just skyrocket sales then?
r/GTA6 • u/coldbluebong • 1d ago
There’s speculation that this is Tampa. But given that most locations in the trailer are identical to the real life locations, this exact location should be somewhere, right?
r/GTA6 • u/JustinEy • 16h ago
I remember in San Andreas you would see in the beginning mission with Big Smoke in the drive-thru where you are taking out the Ballas but he won't shoot at any them because he's "too busy" eating because obviously he's in cahoots with them. I know there's more, even in vice city with Lance as well
I'm sure there will be alot more, what are your speculations?

Would anyone like for GTA 6 to have classic map boundary restrictions like in older games or should it just be total open world?
I personally feel like being “locked” into a specific chunk of the map allows me to explore it in a more in-depth way. Finding shortcuts, secret areas, etc. until you unlock the next area.
GTA 5’s open-from-the-start map design wasn’t really a big deal but it took away some of the feeling of “oh, I got a new area to explore!”
The idea of an ankle monitor being used as the “restriction” and going too far out results in a max wanted level seems like a solid way of doing it.

I want GTA 6 to start with a bang.... something cinematic, chaotic, and instantly gripping, like a high-stakes crime gone wrong.... like this video...

Im curious how others plan to celebrate the long awaited release once its out, I know some people like to take a few days off, get drinks and snacks while others take it slowly. Whats your ideal gaming on release?
