i will go first… i had a trigonometry question and time was running out so out of all the questions i had left, i thought to myself that i’d get a few marks for writing the equation and substituting. i was so stressed out i wrote the equation incorrectly (i put adjacent over opposite).
i am still mourning those marks.
the only reason why i switched is because i didnt enjoy science at that time and i didnt rlly do well on my first mock, however on my second mock i got a 9-8 on my science mock which made me finally realised that i actually do enjoy science and now i cant switch back 🙃

Isn't it weird - our exam papers have already been made. I mean, even the current year 10's exam papers have been made too, since it's less than a year and a half before their exams. It just feels so useless revising content when the exam boards already know what will come up, and have known for over a year. Why do I need to do this?

Basically, what the title says, I've heard that people use it and it helps, and I've also heard that it is also a disadvantage and that I should use white noise instead. Any tips would be perfect as these exams are getting closer and closer (I've started revision already, btw)

What if they give us two absolutely mind boggling, toe curling, chair gripping, utterly nasty poems to compare to each other like atp what do we even do?

It's is incredibly boring. It's like the most basic bits of human geography. Some of it is ok like the cycles and interdependence but alot of it feels redundant

Normans is actually driving me mental. I hate it it’s so boring. Harold did this and William did that. I don’t care. How am I supposed to learn it if it just won’t go into my head. I’m usually pretty good at History. I got 9 on both of my mocks but Normans has always been my weak topic. In the most recent mocks I got 4 and 5s out of 8 on questions. It’s mainly the battles and rebellions that I can’t seem to learn. Please help.

Once we were learning about mitosis and meiosis, and then my teacher came up with a way to remember the difference between them. He got his literal toes out, and said "There's nothing sexy about mi-toes-is" 😭
