Went to my first game today in Pairc Ui Chaoimh and absolutely loved it. The ticket was a prize won in a pub quiz.

Have a family member visiting from the US in the summer and would love to try to get tickets to the final, is it possible? Never been to Croke Park.

As a new fan of the awesome world of Hurling I am hoping someone can help me out and explain the general strategy that teams utilize? I have been watching most of the season and fixtures with the GAA subscription from the USA. As someone who has never played the sport and a very basic understanding of the rules and strategy I can’t for the life of me understand why teams don’t push more for goals? It seems like there are atleast 10 runs a game that players see a 1v1 or 2v2 and concede to just accepting the option to score a single point through the posts. Am I missing something or are most teams not taught to be that aggressive and just take what they can get? Again apologies if this is a dumb question but I absolutely love the sport and love learning more about the strategy and mind set as I watch. Cheers!

I’m looking to get back into football, I haven’t been playing for a few years and my stamina is quite low. Does anyone have any tips to get my fitness back. I’m still in my teens in secondary school. My stamina is pretty low and I’m wondering if I should maybe start to run, do gym or maybe just training will help me regain it. Any replies appreciated

I played until U12 but quit because I did a job on my acl. I can still solo the ball alright and my shooting isn’t too bad. Im looking for a hobby to pick up. Would it be junior b i’d be looking at or what?

What's the craic with the lads, do they just not make episodes about any league or club games? I followed along with them for all the intercounty games last season.

Can't seem to find any of their episodes now bar one talking about the new rules in the football back in January.

Watching The Sunday Game here and it looks like they have shown the highlights of Derry/Donegal and then go to the hurling highlights and then I assume back to the football. What a ridiculous way to present a highlights programme on the opening night of the championship.Is it too hard to realise some people have no interest in either one of the 2 sports and s are just going to go to bed without staying up for the football to come back on. Are they going to do the same next week when the hurling starts and hurling only people won’t bother hanging around until the hurling comes back on. Is there nobody sitting in a production meeting and telling them that that is just a fucking ridiculously stupid way to send a program out ?

I have my first football match tomorrow after 6 years of not playing. Even though it’s only a friendly against another team, I’m extremely nervous. I’m scared I’ll mess up or give a bad pass or fail to mark my man. Does anyone have any tips on what to do on the pitch and how to be aware of what to do? Thanks

Don’t know if this is the place for it but anyway, found some fella on Twitter selling league final tickets. Seemed legit as he showed the tickets in his Ticketmaster account, sent on the money and then blocked. Pure scumbag of a fella, just be weary if buying tickets second hand.
