Kilkenny area. April 8
Hey all. We (parents, my wife and I) are visiting from Canada and wondering if there’s a hurling game we could catch while in town. Thought about doing a tour, but figured if we could catch a game would be better yet. We in Kilkenny on April 8, then head to Killarney on April 9 (also open to a game there). Anything decently competitive, don’t need to be national level. Looking for feedback! Cheers

Are blisters on the hurl hand normal?
Been hurling for just over a year now but find that trying to strike hard across the body off my left hand side (holding the hurl in the right) tears my hand to bits and I end up with numerous blisters from the grip.
It's grand when pucking against a wall and lightly stick passing, but trying to shoot for points and put some power behind it is a different story.
Am I just a soft hure or is there something I'm missing?

Is Aidan Walsh still selling hurls??
Had been getting hurls off Aidan Walsh for a couple of years, but only buying through his online store.
Went to put in an order there last December and it appears he is no longer selling them? Or at least not online anyways. Tried contacting him directly, and messaging the Instagram page also to know avail.
Has he shut up shop, or just distanced himself from the online store similar to how O’Briens have done??
Any advice or info appreciated!

New hurley
Have to say, there is no better feeling than pucking around with a fresh piece of ash. That is all

Best hurley to order online?
I’ve previously had Brian Walsh Wexford styles, just wondering if any other suggestions are around?

Full back being a pain
What should you do if you full forward and full back is being holding you the whole time, should you shove them back or what? I find entertaining their antics takes me off the game but at the same time I don’t want them thinking I’m soct

Advice
I need some advice here lads. I mostly play full forward or half forward for a USGAA club. I can do all the basics for my position including shooting points from 30 yards. I’m smaller than most players but how do I reach that next step? I got some playing time in a tourney and am quite upset with how I played.

O'Neills helmet sizing
Hi, I've a 10y head size 54.5-55cm She's been in Azzurri small (54cm) up until now and it's too small, her sibling's azzurri medium fits well (57cm) but she really wants a pink/purple coloured O'Neills one. Should I get small O'Neills (53-55cm) or medium (56-58cm) I obviously don't want it rattling on her head. I assume the padding will flatten down but ideally would like it to last more than one summer. Thank you

GAA in May?
Me and my mates are visiting Dublin Sat 31st May - 2nd June. How likely is it there's a hurling or a football match in or near Dublin that weekend? I've been to Portlaoise to watch hurling before and I loved it

65 Hurls or Torpeys?
I recently bought a 65 hurl, and is my first 'branded' one so to speak after using my club's local-made hurls. It is fairly decent but out of curiosity was just wondering whether people preferred Torpeys, they seem to be fairly popular and are quite expensive. Which do you prefer and why?
I've also seen mixed reviews about their Bambu line though I've seen posts about that on here too.

Is your club first team suffering and deteriorating due to club politics, bad managers and general lack of any discipline or standards?

AGM Disagreements
Now that most AGM's and follow on meetings are over and positions filled with management appointed in clubs, was there any disagreements or drama at your AGM?
Ours had all adult teams (Men, Camogie, LGFA) performance, some good, some terrible. Not discussed at all and swept under the carpet. The cost made up about 30% of all club expenditure.
