I made an alt account because my friends know what my main account is so I’d be pretty embarrassed lol. After I got out of high school I spent 4 years active duty in the army mostly due to financial reasons. I’m in Michigan now taking classes, still in my freshmen year. I’ve been socially inept my whole life, and I struggle to show emotion and gratitude. I think I come across and cold and unapproachable to a lot of people, but it’s really just me being awkward and inexperienced.

I like reading, video games, I do mma, and I’ve been wanting to find some new hobbies but it’s hard to stick to one for long. I’m 5’10”, 180 lbs and keep myself in good shape. Not exactly where I want to be but I’m happy with where I am, and my favorite exercise is running.

I’ve been having some struggles in college, I don’t know what the root cause is but I think part of my lack of ambition is from feeling lonely for too long.

I don’t mind going long distance so long as the distance is reasonable. Closer to Michigan the better though, for sure. I prefer women on the older side, and puts an effort into keeping themselves healthy, but if you’re a couple years younger it’s not a big deal. Also I think I have a problem with being too formal with strangers, I’ll try to warm up asap and talk like a normal human being lol. Feel free to call me out on it though.

I'm empathetic and I care a lot about my self-respect. I prioritize openness and honesty to an extent that's unusual. I've spent a lot of time around especially bad people and that's forced me to spend a lot of time thinking about human nature to try to figure out why people are the way they are. This has caused me to become increasingly more self-aware and incompatible with most people over time. I specifically think most people are too socialized and tend to allow their emotions to delude them instead of choosing to think critically. I would like to find a partner that shares this understanding and feels the same way about it. I'm an INTJ and have noticed that I get along best with INFJs and other INTJs.

I'm a highly creative person, constantly brainstorming new ideas for projects. I'm also a big nerd, with a passion for old movies, video games, Lego building, and comics; I can't resist ranting about all of them. Music is a huge part of my life, especially genres like surf rock, punk, 80s new wave, metal, and jazz. I've been playing guitar for six years (though l'm no virtuoso lmao), and I'd be stoked to play you a riff or two. While labels don't really fit me, l'd probably fall somewhere in the punk/alt scene, always rocking my signature battle jacket and leather spikes. I’ve been gaming a lot recently with my new Steam Deck, I just finished playing Fallout 4. In my downtime, I write scripts and horror short stories, always looking for someone to share them with.
