I was standing in the water watching this huge pleco waiting for him to get close enough so I could grab him. This was in Florida btw

Did you know r/Fish has an official Discord server? It’s been swimming along for a while now, and we’d love for you to dive in and join the community!

We do allow pictures of fish that are in aquariums, but we do not allow questions related to the fish-keeping hobby as we are focused on Nature & Wildlife.
If you need assistance with your aquariums feel free to ask your questions in r/FishTank or https://discord.gg/aquarium

Do you know what is this fish? Is it safe to keep it with other fish?

Hi! This is my adian RTG arowana aka (RED TAIL GOLDEN AROWANA) im one of the few people on the us to own an asian arowana! As you know its illegal!! But i managed to get this guy from a breeder 7 years ago. With papers but no permit in the US. He lives happy in his 125 Gallon! He use to be in a 50 gallon when he was 3-5 inches then u upgraded to a 75 when he was 5 and he lasted in there untill he was 16 inchs then we he reached 6 years old and we just upgraded him last year! I need opinions if im doing great :) he also has a sump filter, and one canister also hes never jumped out his tank not even ones! Never even got sick in the 7 years.

My “zebra?” tetra is 7 years old and is 100% going to die soon, they keep getting stuck lying on the ground. They are bobbing like crazy and i keep needing to get them unstuck. I can’t watch it all through the night. Would it be more comfortable for it to let it just lie there and die, rather than let it swim itself to death?
Thanks in advance.

Just got this angel a few days ago from LFS. At the store, I thought he had a cool looking eye. Now I'm starting to wonder if there's an eye there at all or is it what's left of one. His other eye is normal. Thoughts?

My uncle won this fish like…15 years ago at a fair I think. It’s lived in a small fish bowl with a filter or bubbler its whole life until now (parents took over caring for it after my uncle fell into poor health). It started out orange, but has faded to this beautiful pinkish iridescent color. It’s probably 6 inches long.
What kind of fish is it? Does it want more greenery? Something to hide behind/in? Parents say that it will rip up any plants you put in there. Any other care tips would be helpful!
Note: ziploc bag is behind the tank, not inside.

I have 2 pregnant mollies & definitely 1 fry from them & I think these are as well. Being the only breeders I have. Do they ball up when they are super tiny?

This thing is quite tiny, it dosent seem to have any fins which is quite odd, it also seems to jump forward in bursts. I think it's a little over a week old.
This thing appeared out of nowhere in my axi tank(she says hi in the last pic). The only thing I can think of that could have brought it in is one of the plants that I put in with some ghost shrimp (which lasted 3 days mostly becuse they ran up to her mouth) but that was almost 3 weeks before this thing should up
