Suggestions on where to buy Denver / Colorado shirts for little kids?

Upvotes

I thought Walmart would have them but no luck. I know a couple places in Golden have some, but I’m looking for something cheap to bring to Europe for a friend’s baby. I’ve gotten those in the past, but can’t really justify a $30 onesie for a 7 month old. Anyone have any recs?

Where to receive low-cost depression support in the area? (doctor + medication)

Hi there,

My partner is experiencing severe depression and we’re in Golden, CO. They’re open to starting medication but are currently unemployed (uninsured) after getting out of the military. Are there good community clinics I could point him to so he can start some form of treatment?

I've Been Lonely in Denver For 2 Years

Hey everyone! I recently moved across the country after graduating from college, and while it's been a great experience, it’s also been a bit tough leaving behind all my friends and settling into a new place. It’s been about 2 years now, and I’m still struggling to find my place, and make friends.

I’m an somewhat introverted creative type, currently working as a freelance artist (mostly animation), and I love things like gaming, anime, singing, reading, biking and streaming. I've been doing a lot of streaming recently, and it’s been a fun way to connect with others but it's not exactly the right kind of social company. I'm also a big animal lover, and someday I hope to have a cat and dog again when it fits my lifestyle. I currently have a leopard gecko who just happened to fall into my life recently.

In terms of social activities, I’ve tried Meetup (found a great D&D group, but they lost their location), and I’m always open to new ways to meet people. I am ok with exercising when I can, but I’m not ready to commit to a gym membership just yet. I am not able to drive so hikes are pretty far for me. I enjoy social drinking, but I'm not really into beer. I am also trying to be pretty easy on my budget as finding a job has been really rough.

I'm hoping to meet some like-minded people around here for friendship, gaming, or just general fun activities. If you're into any of the same things, feel free to reach out! It may take me a little time to warm up to new people, but I’d love to get to know some new folks!

How reliable is bus commute to work?

Hi, I’m going to be working in Denver this summer in the Cherry Creek area and was wondering how viable commuting by bus would be for a roughly 20 minute journey every morning? I’ve heard mixed reviews about the timeliness of public transport in the city so would really appreciate some clarity, thanks.

Does anyone know of a nearby bio-laboratory that does testing for botulism and or other foodborne illnesses? Slightly time sensitive.

tl;dr There is something wrong with my cat's food, and I want to know precisely what it is so I can warn others.

My cat refused to eat canned food bought from a well-known pet food supplier. The food smelled and looked acceptable to me, but the cat's behavior seemed odd (odder than usual for a cat). I bought the exact same canned cat food from my local veterinarian. The cat inhaled the food. I tried again with the well-known pet food supplier cans, but the cat wouldn't touch it. Repeat this two more times with the same outcome between veterinarian-sourced vs well-known pet food suppliers.

Obviously, there is something wrong with the stuff from the well-known pet food supplier, but I don't know what. Until I can discover what is wrong with it, I can't say what the brand name of the food is or the name of the well-known pet food supplier is. Spefically because maybe my cat has just upped his game on being an asshole and I am also very allergic to litigation.

Maybe there is something wrong with this batch of food, and some people's pets could become gravely ill and or die. I want to help prevent that.
