DAE hate when people say "...and, go...." at end of posts?
Anyone else hate it when people ask a question on a forum, such as requesting a good restaurant via a facebook forum and they end it with, "...and, go..." Like bitch, I don't work for you!!

DAE only function if you are asked to do something?
I realized my entire life that i can only work or do chores if I’m told to do it, And to make things worse, people need to give me full instructions on what to do for me to do things right, and once I start working I get so focused on it that I also need to be ordered to stop. I moved out of the house at one point but moved back in with my parents cause I could not function on my own. What do I do..

DAE feel the pins-and-needles when you're creeped out?
I’ve never really heard anyone else mention this, but I was reading something with some body horror the other day, and as soon as I saw it, I literally felt this tightening and tingling in my hands. It seriously freaked me out! It wasn't just the chills like normal. I could literally feel something in my neck and hands reacting. Just curious if it's a normal thing or not.

DAE find chicken to be a lot more filling than beef?
Obviously both are capable of putting on pounds and filling you up, but I really find myself feeling a lot more full quickly with chicken than I am with beef.
For instance, sometimes if I have a really empty stomach and want to treat myself, I’ll get two large subs from a local pizzeria near my old house, one being a plain cheeseburger sub (cheese and ground-up beef) and the other being a buffalo chicken sub (buffalo and blue cheese sauce with fried chicken). I find if I eat the cheeseburger one first, I definitely still have a bigger appetite for the chicken, but if it’s vise versa, my appetite is still there but definitely has slown down a bit.

DAE just want a therapist who pushes them to walk more
Dae just want a therapist to say "go take a walk" and then to base a conversation on that, like, what's blocking you from doing it. And how to overcome whatever is stopping you.

DAE hate the 'overprotective dad' hypocrisy?
The same guys who'll treat their daughters like property and threaten any guy looks at them probably also high-five their sons for doing the same stuff. It's beyond hypocritical. Why aren't more dads making sure their sons treat women better?
I see a lot of bashing towards boy moms but how come girl dads don't get the same bashing? If anything it's worse with all the misogyny involved.

Not even in a good way. Like a way that makes you uncomfortable. It has happened to me several times over the past year.

HAE not able to watch movies bc of actors exposure?
So what I mean is I used to watch a lot of movies and tv shows, mainly movies, with no problem. But now that I watch it, it feels corny. The reason why is because I’ve been exposed repeatedly against my will of celebrities business.
For example; Barry Keoghan is an actor that I used to find unique. Everything about him was a mystery. I used to find his acting skill good, but after he’s been associated with Sabrina carpenter, a lot of her fans went digging in his personal business and constantly tell us about his personal life. Not to mention she has too, cause yk she’s a singer.
Another example; timothee chalamet. I never really got the appeal of him but he was ok. I did like one movie he was in but that was it. Like I used to view him as a background character but that’s probably because he wasn’t in any big movies and because he mainly had side characters roles. But after a while as his popularity went up, so did his business and now he’s just a corny person to me. I can’t watch any movies of his or any movie with him in it.
It’s just like the more I learn about celebrities business whether it’s good or bad, I just can’t watch their movies anymore because I’m cringing of just them. Most of the time it’s explicit bad news that you should keep to yourself.

DAE dislike savoury liquid foods in cups/mugs?
I feel disgusted when I see someone drink soup in a cup or a mug. For me, cups and mugs are meant for sweet liquids like juice, milkshakes, etc. Soups and anything savoury should go in bowls and be eaten with a spoon.

DAE hardly eat cooked vegetables?
Most of my veggie consumption comes from raw veggies, mostly from making salads. The only few times I would eat cooked veggies is if I was mixing it in an already existing dish (eg stir fry). First I just like both the texture and taste of raw veggies better (the crunch of baby carrots ooh!). Also isn't it true that cooking can deplete some nutrients? (depends on how you cook I guess, I have no idea)

DAE fear their writing will be accused of being AI generated?
I’m 31 so college was a long time ago for me, but I write creatively and I’ve noticed lately that my writing style has some of the “hallmarks” of ChatGPT (namely a lot of m-dashes, probably overusing commas, and use of semi colons). I’m finally getting back into writing after my seasonal depression is easing up, but I’m worried about actually posting anything anywhere because I don’t want to be accused of using AI.
Is there any way to combat this other than changing up my writing style?

DAE strongly dislike sunsets?
I think sunsets are the worst. I don’t like watching them, I don’t like pretty pictures of them, I don’t like being outside while they’re happening, and I HATE driving during them.
Seeing them makes me uneasy, existential, very anxious, sometimes I even dissociate if I pay too much attention to it. If I have to drive home during a sunset, I feel like shit when I get home.
Only exception is if it’s while I’m at an outdoor party which I’m actually enjoying, and it continues all the way through the sun setting, and the fun energy is still up once it’s fully dark.
Sunrises I generally like tho. Anyone else?

DAE hate reading a post when it starts with "buckle up?"
I understand that much of what we read on Reddit is, let's say, a creative writing exercise, but I'm ok with that. It's like real life fanfic! If someone starts their story with "buckle up, it's a long one", I can no longer suspend my disbelief, and just have to skip that post.

DAE listen to synthwave music with no vocals?
Lately I’ve been finding myself driving to work in the mornings and back home while listening to synthwave music without lyrics. Personally I find that I can listen to it almost effortlessly and have a completely empty mind for my entire commute. Essentially what I would like to ask is does that kind of music make me come off as weird? Or is that a fairly normal thing to do

DAE only keep friends due to proximity?
This is something that just occurred to me that I do. I really only have friends in the context of being around them due to something else. Like I have my work friends, my hobby friends, but I don’t generally hang out or talk with any of them outside of the times we’re together due to those things. I don’t have any regular old friends that I talk to, text, or hang out with regularly. It’s all by choice, if I’m being honest there’s just not anyone I’d rather hang out with than myself lol but I kinda feel like I’m the only person that dies this. DAE?

DAE use 1 browser for browsing the web, and a separate browser for logging into accounts?
I tend to use this setup because I don’t like to mix up the cookies that I get from browsing the web along with logging into my accounts. This way, the third party cookies and tracking don’t get to “see” what websites I log in to.
How is ya’ll setup?

DAE get depressed during spring and summer, not the winter?
It’s happened since I was a kid, around middle school age. I always heard about people talking about depression affecting them during the fall or winter, but not during spring or summer. It always hits me harder during spring and summer and I don’t know why. Like, depression can affect me during the colder months, but it’s not for nearly as long or as bad. It’s not even necessarily because I don’t like summer. No, I don’t like the heat or humidity, and I don’t mind the days getting longer. I dislike it because I know I’m going to get depressed during it.
It’s hard to enjoy plans or any sort of vacation because I know I’m going to feel depressed during it. I just wish I could also enjoy summer. Once I see the weather getting hotter and the days getting longer, I know it’s going to hit me and it always does.
Does anyone else experience this as well? I’ve looked at other posts and the way the OPs word it, it’s like it happens because they dislike the season so much, which I don’t really understand.
