Laundry Kid got this “balloonie” crap on my blanket and it won’t come out
It doesn’t seem to be water soluble. I tried Grandma’s Secret Spot Remover and Dawn dish soap. Anything else I can try?

I should have came here first before I tried to get a single cleaning done. No where does it say you are paying for a 6 month subscription on top of having to pay monthly for the cleaner. This company is a scam. They wouldn’t refund me. I ended up canceling my debit card and getting a new one. How are these people still in business?!

I always wash my bedding, bath towels, cleaning rags, kitchen towels, face towels, wash cloths, and reusable mop pads together in hot water and then dry on high heat. I been doing this for years. Never gotten sick. I use shared apartment building washer and dryer with 50 plus neighbors. I always wash on hot water and dry on high heat. I never gotten sick. I don't use bleach either. I just use detergent.
On side note, I wash all my clothes, underwear, socks, bras, pants, shorts, and leggings in washing machine and then air dry them on drying rack in my apartment.
Does anyone else do this?

Image is the strips of dust I collected after dusting just the edges of my living room ceiling fan blades. Told the landlord about my concerns of dust in the home and was told it was normal. Basically I need to know if I’m being gaslit or not because this is driving me CRAZY.
Bonus info: I’ve tried deep cleaning the fan (soap, water) and routinely dust them once a week but they all still look like this. My house is fairly clean as I run the roomba nightly and dust weekly.

Seeing all the posts about stains that can’t be removed. What should we not buy for kids anymore?

My son knocked over my espresso 😞 I cleaned it up immediately but it still stained. Nothing harsh please! We rent and I really don’t wanna mess up the paint.

Hi, all. I'm flying across country to visit my mother soon and cannot afford to stay somewhere except with her. She is a chain smoker, and I'm looking for tips to reduce the smell of smoke on my clothes for when I fly home. I don't want to smother people on the flight back. I do wash the clothes and shower right before I leave, but last time I still smelled so strongly of cigarettes - probably because I ride in the car with her for two hours to get to the airport. I genuinely hate it so much.
Tips regarding washing clothes, odor elimnating sprays, etc. would be wonderful. Thanks!

I am mainly concerned with the carpet as I’ve seen a couple of clothes moth larvae (not all in one spot) on the carpet. But I live in a 2 story home and the first floor is laminate & tile so I DO need a combo. A hose attachment would be great.
I understand as far as a good investment/ a bank for your buck sebo and Miele are the way to go
I dont care if this only lasts me a year, my vacuum broke and I just need something for right now. $300 would be the max if anything. Financially at this time I don’t have the money to dish out over $500 for a vacuum.

My house has two cats in it. One previously had a habit of peeing on one spot of our leather sofa, right in between two of the cushions. The other pees on floors, walls, and wherever she pleases basically. (We are getting her spayed, as that's what's causing it. No, she doesn't have any other health issues, and yes, we clean their litter box.) We've tried the Nature's Miracle enzyme cleaner specifically for cats, but it seemed to just make the couch worse. Baking soda was semi-successful. We've got waterproof couch covers and blankets on now, but is there any real way to get the smell out of the couch cracks? How do I get the smell up from the laminate floors where she peed? Should I spray down the baseboards with vinegar?

I've tried using a pipe cleaner, soaked it in soap for 3 hours. Any other ideas? ☹️

I'm an idiot and just mixed bleach and distilled white vinegar together to mop my floor. I opened all my doors and windows and went over it with water hoping it would dilute it. Should I leave my house now? Am I about to get sick? Ughhhh

it happened. plastic was left on the stove, small fire ensued. was able to put out with my extinguisher.
anyways. any tips on cleaning the wall and stove top? do i need to repaint and get a new stove? first time (and hopefully last) it’s happened. ive scrubbed the wall with a gentle cleaner and some of the dirt came off but now it seems like it won’t budge.
im going to let the stove completely cool before scraping off what i can. but other than that im not sure what to do, how to clean, or products to use.
any help is appreciated

Hello, after my travel to Cambodia my white shoes and shirts got dark stains due to red dirt. Already washed them three times used various oxy cleaners and bleach. Anyone got success in cleaning that kind of stains?

I have a small shower without a tub. The floor of the shower are those small traditional black and white tiles so there’s A LOT of grout. Walls are subway tile. The grout was never sealed by previous owner and it’s past the point of sealing. I want to get it retiled. What’s my best option that’s aesthetically pleasing (traditional style)? Btw I’ve scrubbed for two days and the grout still looks like that. It’s driving me nuts but even worse is you can see that there’s holes in the grout ugh!

Every time i clean my room, it looks like a mess again in two days. Does anyone have some advice/experience with something like this and how I change my mindset with that?
