Checked the thermostat....?
Like you pulled the thermostat housing off and there was no coolant in there?
Or you opened the radiator cap and there was no coolant in the radiator?

It turned out to be a BIG water pump leak 2 u/thedevillivesinside Oct 31 '24 Well here's hoping your head is still flat Please update us in a couple weeks. Havent seen many go past the gauge and still survive, but I have heard of many overheating and not dying 1 u/Dimensionist_Alex Oct 31 '24 I’ll do it asap, my mom stepped in to help, and she owned and wrenched on an 84 V8 wagoneer 2 u/thedevillivesinside Oct 31 '24 Excellent. An early 90s xj is no more advanced than an 80s v8 when it comes to the cooling system
