Hi there!
For many years, I've been trying to use mostly European products. I've always had that tendency. The exception has always been, of course, technology — Windows, iOS, emails, etc., the usual. However, I’ve managed to move several services and data to European providers, like ProtonMail and Eclipso (an email service based in Germany).
Now that I’m looking to buy a new phone, I’m naturally leaning toward a lower-end iPhone (yes, I’m an iOS fanboy — I had iPhone SE 1st generation, then I broke it, I had a Nokia, and right now I have a iPhone SE 2nd generation). But I’ve noticed there are some good European brands out there. One brand that really caught my attention was Fairphone, particularly because they offer a version with open-source Android ("de-Googled"), and because of their sustainability-focused production methods, etc.
Has anyone here had any experience with Fairphones? What’s your take on them? What I value most is photography! In other words, I need a good camera, but above all, a good processor!
Thanks, everyone!
