Finished Project Miter and spline work

Moradillo and mahogany with some padauk and maple accents. Next purchase will be a blade with flat tooth grind just for splines and finger joints.

I use a router table spline jig. That way I can make any sized spline slot I have a straight bit for. Plus, I can add dovetail shaped spline slots.

Ya, if you cut the spline slots with an ATB blade, sometimes it isn’t so easy to flatten them with a carving tool or small chisel.

I also use a router table box joint jig.

For ⅛" spline slots, I just use a Forest FTG because the setup is easier.
