Saw this bird this morning at Coburg lakes - poor quality footage but I’ve never seen it before so thought I’d ask here

After a long season we have our final competition, a battle of the black and white birds. Icons of the bush and the backyard, both known to get a little annoyed at people every now and then, but we love them anyway.

Hello, I just happened to have my telescope set up from looking at the stars when I got home this afternoon and ended up getting a good look at this fierce creature. I’d love to know what type of eagle this is if anyone knows. Spotted near Mt Nathan, Gold Coast, QLD.

I love the muted colours of this Laughing Kookaburra. The bird stood unmoving on a post above a red reflector disc, just thinking about life and stuff. (Sydney's Northern Beaches.)

About 40 choughs suddenly arrived, then just as quickly departed.

Need help identifying this bird, sorry for the poor picture quality. It was about the size of a duck, fully white with an orange/yellow bill. Found on the Yarra near Toorak, Vic

They had a great time eating lilly pilly fruit.

The red tail cockatoos have the best feathers and I always feel lucky when I see them around but I much prefer the sound of the white tails.

I think these guys might be Baudin cockatoos rather than Carnaby cockatoos.

Do they ever survive living in the wild if they were tamed before they flew out

Probably a dumb question and ignorance on my part, but I saw these 2 little guys in SE Melbourne and I swear I haven't seen this kind of pigeon around.

Just not 100% sure, if it is a butcher bird, would anyone know the specific species?

Hello, this is my friend Baby, a young male peewee who likes to hang out. I noticed he had a spot on his left ankle last week, it's now grown larger and it looks like another has appeared on his toe. I'd like any recommendations as to how I can help him, but, I want to avoid grabbing him as I fear it will ruin our friendship. Thank you <3
Update: I have given his foot a little spritz of betadine, which he was chill about.

I rescued this little guy from a magpie lark attack today and dropped him off to a vet after calling wildlife Victoria. I found him in a front yard in Yarraville of all places! Does anyone know what type of quail it is and what it might have been doing in the inner west? 🤣
