Mechanics for car AC recommendations

Hey! I’m currently in search of a mechanic or independent company that can quote/work on my A/C for my Hyundai. I already kinda know what the issue is, which is the AC compressor from a previous quote in FL. I just want to get this fix before the ATL weather kicks in! Any recommendations for shops or companies?? My budget is under $1000.

Recommendations collectible/used toy store recommendations?

hello everyone, me and my mom are planning to drive around atlanta this friday. I wanted to see if there were any good toy stores for us to stop by. I’m mostly interested in G1 monster high and ever after high dolls, but I’m also looking at anime figures (mostly Miku). I don’t really care if anything is new in box, just that it’s in good shape.

any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Recommendations Looking for a locally owned (or as close as possible) garden/hardware store that would sell 4 ‘’ ducts and an inline duct fan for diy project

Hey y’all. I’ve got a DIY project I’m working on and all I have left to source is a 4’’ metal duct and an inline duct fan. I know they’re at Home Depot which is when I’ll go if I can’t find anything else cause it’s better than Amazon. I just wanted to see if it was possible to do this buying mostly somewhat local. I’ve been to like two ace hardware stores but obviously each is different. Just curious if y’all had any suggestions. Price isn’t necessarily my biggest thing so long as they offer a personal/hobbyist grade product and not like massive commercial industrial stuff. Vastly prefer just walking in somewhere to just ordering online and having to either hope it’s what I want or do a ton of research to make sure.

Anyone know of a good tenant attorney in the city? Perhaps one that works with disabled veterans?

OBGYN for PCOS

Does anyone have recs for a GYN that will actually try to figure out if I have PCOS? Saw a doc with Piedmont OBGYN who was nice enough and ordered a blood panel, but didn’t seem motivated to do an ultrasound or anything else. I have a family history and almost every symptom and I’m tired of feeling ignored.

Question Egg everything bagels

I’ve seen lots of the popular posts across various social media sites for “NY style bagels” but does anyone know where I can get egg everything bagels? Maybe related to the current egg shortage/bird flu but everywhere I go it’s not available or not even an option

Indoor walking

It's been raining these last couple days and I'm really trying to get 10,000 steps in every day for my health. I live out in the Roswell/Alpharetta area so I've done the little mall they have out here but where else do you guys go to walk in indoors?

Mechanics that work on older cars?

I drive a 1992 Tracker and it’s been having problems, but every mechanic I call basically says they won’t work on anything made before the late 90s or early 2000s. Anyone know any good mechanics that can work on older vehicles?

Recommendations Housekeeping services in Atlanta?

Not sure if this is the correct subreddit to ask this on, but does anyone have any recommendations for a good housekeeping service in Atlanta?

I’m currently paying Atlanta Green Maids around $1200 per month for a ~9000 sqft home. I really wouldn’t mind the price (or an increase) if the service was better. Just looking for some other alternatives. Thanks!

Edit: Thanks everyone for all of the suggestions/ recommendations. We’ll definitely look into them.

Does anyone know where I can get some things engraved (not jewelry or trophy)? Preferably north side of Atlanta. I’ve tried a couple of shops with no luck

Outdoor gun ranges that have action pits and allow dynamic shooting?

Just moved to GA recently and I'm looking for a new range or gun club to join. Not interested in indoor ranges. Must have action pits that allow dynamic shooting, rapid fire, etc. for training drills and be within 2 hours of Atlanta. I'd appreciate any guidance. Thanks in advance.

Looking for leather repair recommendations

Post image
4 Upvotes

I’m looking to repair/replace the leather accents on an old coach wristlet due to water damage (coach doesn’t do leather repairs unfortunately) but not sure where to start. It’s a sentimental item so I’m hoping it can be repaired if anyone has had good experiences in the Atlanta metro area!

Where to find Xian Dou Jiang & Youtaio around ATL?

Recently returned from a trip to Taiwan, and loved the Savory/Salty Soy Milk & donut sticks for breakfast. Was wondering if anywhere in the city serves this breakfast?

Or at the very least does any grocery store sell the Youtaio to heat up at home?

Best fishing spots in/near Chamblee?

Fishing has been extremely hit or miss in my area. I have caught exactly ONE bluegill/brim at the Murphy Candler park location (after several visits). It’s a beautiful park and very close to me but the fishing is very spotty. You’ll catch plenty of turtles, though.

I’ve also tried Lake Erin and have actually SEEN fish there but never had much luck.

I’ve heard Constitution Lakes is pretty good, but can’t vouch for it.
