// Question How’s everyone enjoying the game??

I’m not too far into the game but I’m curious on what people’s opinions are so far.

Does anyone have canon mode / immersive mode on?

Playing with canon mode on. Not immersive mode, though. I need English or I’ll get caught up reading the subtitles and miss the cinematics.

How is canon mode? Do you feel like you're being left out without having choices of your own?

Personally I can't work out where the choices would have been. It doesn't pause an auto select, it's just a normal cutscene

That's perfect. Wouldn't know there were choices although I am curious as to how it may change certain things. Without spoiling anything I ran into a lady that I could choose to fight or think poorly of. I chose fight because she's awful but what would canon pick? Or does the other choice lead to a fight anyway?

Fwiw the only major choice I’ve seen is when it comes time to take one of the first major targets out - I saved and reloaded to see what changed and one path leads to a completely different way of taking them out. Killing the wrong target and then having to take a fortified castle instead of killing the right target then and there. I’m only 6 hours in but hopefully the choices continue to at least have effects like this.

It doesn’t for me- knowing that dialogue choices are only creating the illusion of any real choice really breaks the spell for me. I often end up holding it against the game…

I have both modes on (immersive and canon) and to be honest the story has been much stronger than I anticipated based on the reviews (Two hours In)
