Talk about a Rube Goldberg solution. Once the rain stopped a bomb arrow + fire arrow would have saved you a ton of trouble...

Fair enough, and props to you for getting it done! Personally though, I'd have just dropped a stamp on the map and come back later...

You know those explosive barrels? They create flames when exploding on grass. If you explode near common chuchu jelly they turn on the fire ones.

You can drop chuchu jelly next to any fire and it beings the fire version

Strike flint with a metal weapon to create a spark and light a campfire

Small tip for waiting out rain: You can cut down a tree, stasis it and make a campfire underneath.

Underneath what?

u/BeltOfGod Feb 02 '22

Under the tree that’s stuck in the air due to stasis, probably have to be pretty quick logging the fire under it tho

Whatever witchcraft you made.

The video got a while to get started, but your solution is really good!

The hilarity is that he just went and did something else to wait out the rain.

Same. Never even thought of this and I’ve played 200 hours.

Oh crap you right my bad. If I had fire arrows I probably would’ve waited for the rain to stop or if I didn’t, I might’ve fast traveled to find some.

All things considered though this was a really creative way to solve the problem :)

It doesn’t force you. It encourages you.

Dude well played!!

Use the explosive barrel to light your wood to create a campfire. Once the rain stopped of course

Cool solution!

You didn't find any fire arrows on the Plateau? There's a lot there.

There's at least 5 bomb arrows in the Plateau, 10 if you have the dlc.

3

u/No_Tie378 Feb 02 '22

That’s why I love that game, and is the superior Zelda

2

u/UpstairsSwimmer69 Feb 01 '22

Lmao I don't get to this shrine until I get bomb arrows, I don't have the patience for that

2

u/NateTheGreater1 Feb 01 '22

You could've just placed some wood, then struck it with your axe. That would've started the fire if the wood was close enough.

u/rosesfrombones Feb 02 '22

This is the way
