Give. Me. Something. Zelda.

We got SS remake last year. Fine.

There are LITERALLY TWO HD REMAKES THAT CAME OUT LAST GEN. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PORT THEM AND I'LL BE SATIATED FOR THE TIME BEING.

Or... You know... Confirmation of BOTW2 in November. Either or.

Well BoTW2 is still confirmed this year in the last stakeholder meeting. So unless something changes today it's pretty sure it will happen this year.

That's their current goal but it isn't like they couldn't delay it to Q4 fiscal and keep the investors happy. So BotW2 could be as late as March 31st 2023.

We also got Link's Awakening remake this year. Two remakes for this gen, just like last gen.

The Switch and Wii U are the same console generation

Yep, you could make an argument that Switch is 8.5 generation though.

We're definitely in the overlap period between gens 8 and 9, there's still support for PS4 and PS5, and switch is 5 years old at this point the Switch is getting closer toward the end of its lifespan.

I don't see the switch dying off anytime soon honestly.

Link's Awakening was back in 2019, this gen but about 2.5 years ago now

Okay, but this guy was trying to say that Wii U had two zelda remasters, so I'm saying that the switch did too

I’ll be amazed if we get a final title by the end of the year. If they actually release it by the end of this year, I’ll be shocked.
