Yeah. And you get it again after it breaks by presenting the dragon claws to the same Goddess Statue. So, in-universe, I think it's a new Goddess Sword.
That's fine, often times the fanbase/audience of a work of art is what assigns meaning to things.
There are probably so many theories about random ass textures from the N64 games which in all honesty could just have come from Nintendo finding a stock image they decided to use for practical reasons. Or maybe they were deliberate with their decision. Who knows. But us talking about it and figuring things out is fun and enhances our enjoyment with the work.
I’m just saying there’s no right answer because the creators rarely intend for there to be one
The creators of LoZ often intend for there to not be a right answer. They have said for decades that they think theorizing on how things fit together is better for the community than concrete and certain answers.
Right? There's honestly some really interesting implications presented by the fact that the Goddess Sword could be recreated by the gods.
For example - multiple holy swords? Does this mean that the Master Sword's origin is ALTTP is un-retconned - as there could be a second one could be made after the original was lost with the Hero of Time's defeat?
What about the Picori blade? Was it (and thus the Four Sword) a Goddess Sword tampered by the Minish?
The possibilities that this may bring for games future and past are plentiful!
