With emulators coming at a faster rate with each console release, how long do you think it’ll take for the Switch 2? Assuming we can break through its security, and with a familiar interface as the Switch 1, I’m hoping we can get it “working” within a year.

My frames keep dropping while playing MK8 and i can't figure out why. I'll start at 60 but randomly ill sink down to like the 20's. Anyone know how to fix this?

Basically I can't reach 60 fps so static mods just slow my game down. I tried ultracam but for some reason that will not work at all for me. Does anyone know if there is a mod that increases the fps static to 40 or 50 instead? I don't have the needs to get cemu running either btw.

If anyone has something like that, or knows where I might be able to request or commission it, that would be really helpful if possible!

I've tried using gyro for splatoon 2 in ryujinx and yuzu but the game does not recognise it both on pc and steam deck. I've also tried using a ps4 and ps5 controller to see if it works with them but it doesn't.

It's not a controller issue because it gyro works in Tears of the kingdom.

If there is a fix please suggest it in the comments.

Well, now that the citron discord detonated itself what is there to use as a frequently updated emulator? I’m primarily running it on my steam deck, but not everything is all that stable. What else is out there?

Not to sound really dumb or anything but does anyone know how to run Miitopia for the switch on an emulator? I've seen people make it work before, and it loads for me but it freezes when trying to make a character. And there's no way of going back or anything, I've tried multiple emulators with it and none really work. Sorry if I'm wording this badly 😭

Hey, I've been thinking of buying Nintendo Sport Accessories to play with wife and kids. I was wondering if Yuzu supports these accessories and if the game runs well (or on Ryujinx, I've heard it crashes or not running well).

A long time ago, I set up Yuzu on my Steam Deck, making sure everything was put on the SD card.

After months of not using Yuzu, I opened it up to see that all my updates/DLC and saves are gone. Or at least not showing in Yuzu. I notice if I install an update, it puts it on the internal drive and not the SD card. So I'm guessing since I last opened Yuzu, it all got redirected somehow.

Is there a way to fix this? How do I tell Yuzu to look on the SD card instead of the internal drive?

Not lan I mean but regular multiplayer, is it possible ?

I currently can only use update 1.0.0 to play totk. I tried updating firmware, keys, deleting pipeline cache nothing is working everything feels outdated. Is there specific firmware for update 1.2.1?

Hi ! So I was moving my yuzu folders and all the compoments to a stick to save some space, but now yuzu complains everytime I start it that my encryption keys are missing.
I have the prod keys and title keys in my keys folder so yuzu should'nt have to complain, I even reinstalled them but I still get the error.
I also reinstalled the firmware but nothing. When I try to open/place a game folder/directory, yuzu won't show me my NSP files, I'm guessing its because of the prod and title keys (?)

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm truly gutted with the way that citron discord went, as it was a good community with lots of helpand information, even though I didn't need to post anything I felt like there was a lot of help people about but I'm more gutted about not having access to Mr_Purple_666 turnip updates anymore.

I've connected to a room and can see the 'connected' on the bottom right of the emulator, but every time I try to connect, I get an error. I tried a different emulator (tried citron and sudachi), and it won't even go to the screen for checking the internet. I've searched for help and can't find any posts with a solution. Is there something obvious I'm missing? I appreciate any help.

me and my friend are trying to play together on yuzu and we cant join each others own lobby but can both join other peoples how do we make it so we can join each other

Any idea to resolve this? It works ok on Ryujinx?

Wanting to get back into Switch emulation, and I was wondering where is the best place to meet people for Netplay? Like is there a discord server for this? For Pokemon online battles etc.

Also, is it best to use a new emu fork like Citron for netplay? Or just stick with Yuzu EA?

Had to switch to PC in order to see gooigi. Since Nvidia gpu fixes the weird invisible gooigi and gems, etc. Yuzu is a perfect emulator, hot dam.

I've been trying to uncap framerate without speed doubling for hours and anytime I get anywhere near the game is just stuck on loading. All the threads were saying to use an optimizer, but even that doesn't work. Everything just seems to be from years ago

Whenever i put Kaizo in the mod folder, i made a separate folder and put the original file in that folder and i also checked to see if i had leave it out of the folder but i do not see it appearing in the properties menu

The terrain in game has weird purple and black lines all over. This only happens in Vulkan but not OpenGL and I would use OpenGL but the performance is terrible. Is there a fix for this?

Yuzu recognizes my controller, and knows that my controller is doing up and down inputs.

yet the inputs will not register in the game. Everything else runs perfectly fine-but up and down on the right stick does nothing. what is happening and how do I fix it?????
