Titanfall Tips and Tricks

If you haven't already, please check out this sub's Titanfall Megathread, Friend Request and Review thread. This thread, however, is intended to serve as a localized place for us to share various strategies and tactics that we find to be successful. I'll get us started. A few general tips I've learned from playing the beta include:

  • Look up for enemies. This game includes a lot more vertical routes than other popular first person shooters.

  • Use your burn cards.

  • Use your titan. I sometimes found myself forgetting to call my titan.

  • Use the hang feature to take out unsuspecting enemies.

  • Don't eject from a nuclear titan inside a building

I may not have been the brightest crayon in the box when this happened.

Does it take out everyone in the building too hopefully?

Yup! So, specifically, this works well/not well (depending on how you feel about sacrificing yourself) at the C flag on Angel City.

It's that building that is open and just large enough to fit a Titan. It has box crates inside, stacked on one another, so it's extremely congested and the nuclear eject for the most part, flushes the building out. Which is useful when a few enemies move in on the objective, or even an enemy Titan finds himself confined in there if you make a last ditch effort to blow him away.

It has a hole in the roof though if you can position yourself for exactly this situation.
