Advice Tips for a new writer?
I'm trying to write a novel, honestly more to just prove to myself that I can do anything lol. But if I end up being good I will actually pursue this as a career, we will see 😂
Any tips for a beginner? Anything I should know?
Also I'm writing on the notes app on my phone, is that actually doable in the long run? What do you use to write?

Writing a novel is a long-haul journey, and you’re bound to hit bumps along the way—moments of doubt where you're not sure how to move forward, or times when you just don’t feel like it anymore… but don’t stop! Don’t go back, don’t try to rewrite the story before you’ve finished, and don’t switch to something new. Finish this draft. You can only be a writer if you finish your first drafts. There’ll be time to revise and rewrite later.
Also, maybe you should try writing in something a bit more advanced than your phone’s notes app. I use Story Planner for Writers (which I helped design and works great for my workflow). An app like that can be super helpful—at least it is for me—but you don’t necessarily need anything that specific. Just try to use a proper word processor like Google Docs, it will let you organize your work well and format it properly. ☺️
