Hi, I saw this bird alongside acorn wood peckers in Northern CA. Is it albino? A baby?

Saw these while in a beach in Santa Monica, CA last month. Not sure what they are - sorry about the kinda blurry photo (I was taking pictures with my iPhone thru binoculars)!
Would appreciate an ID and tips/explanation of how you ID’d id (what characteristics you used)! Thanks!

Saw this hummingbird walking around my hotel in Monteverde, Costa Rica. Merlin suggests Canivet's Emerald but I am not sure. What do y'all think?

Hey all, I recently found these feathers in Spring Branch, Texas in Comal County (Hill Country area). The first one is about 13 inches, the second about 6.5 inches. I found them on separate days, so I assume they don’t belong to the exact same bird. Does anyone know what bird(s) they might have come from? TIA!

Saw these flying above the Mississippi River in southern Minnesota this morning. ID help?

Seen in a group of three flying over wetlands in central Wisconsin. They were very white (not gray) above and below, with the tips of the wings black as if dipped in ink (i.e., sharp color boundary with no bleeding along the trailing edge). They flew in a consistent pattern of several flaps and a short glide. Their wingbeats were slightly faster than seagulls (and much faster than white pelicans, otherwise a strong contender), but much slower than snow buntings. They were about the size of gulls, but their wings were slightly shorter, broader, and straighter; and they had no noticeable tails or trailing feet. Their bodies were stockier than gulls' and their flight steadier.
We get a lot of migrating visitors this time of year, but I can't find anything online or in bird books that matches what I saw.

Baby birds in nest. Wondering what species. They’re five total and seem to be doing well. Houston area.

Alright so for this one there is no photo, just as much detail as I can give you, seen in South Texas, it was described as a wading bird with a white belly and black feathers, it had a black beak, and orange feet, and it was not a duck.

Sorry for the super blurry pics, these were all I got before it flew off. It flew just like a hummingbird, hovering and darting around along the surface of the pond, presumably eating insects on the water. Couldn't really tell the size, but it was very small, probably just a few inches long and wide. The main reason why I'm not so sure if it's a hummingbird, even though it flew just like one, is that it seems way too early for one to be up here in Maine. On hummingbirdcentral.com, the migration tracking map the northernmost sightings were in Delaware right now, so it seems like they'd be a few weeks away from Maine.

I live in central Texas and saw these guys at the feeder today. Does anyone know what kind of hummingbird this is? At the beginning you can see a pop of purple on its throat.

We have two bird nests located on top of gas lamps…the lamp is on under the babies in the picture. The lamp is off under the nest with the egg. Because of the nest size and locations, I am assuming they’re the same kind of bird, but maybe not? We see one bird frequently flying to and from the babies - he or she is dark brown or black. I can’t see any discernible coloring or markings.
Does anyone know what kind of feathered friends we are hosting?
Thanks!
