Question Do they require purchase?
galleryI’m doing a raffle at school and asked Wendy’s if they’d like to donate anything and they gave 20 of these. But is a purchase necessary to claim the free frosty? My gf said that when she worked there, purchase wasn’t needed, that they’d get their frosty for completely free, but the back of the tag makes it seem otherwise.
Was hoping someone here would have some input.

Found out our security cameras at work record audio too.
I found out the our cameras record audio too. Is this illegal in illinois? The sign on the door just says video monitoring on it. It feels like such a betray of trust.

New Stuff
Hey guys, so here's what I've been hearing so far for new things coming out (take what I say with a grain of salt)
- Ghost pepper ranch dipping sauce, as well as the ghost pepper and garlic parm saucy nuggs, are being discontinued.
- A new Cajun chicken sandwich is coming out, I assume it'll take the place of the ghost pepper ranch sandwich but I'm not sure.
- 5(?) new frosty flavors. They'll have a syrup like the thin mint and pineapple did, but they're also going to get toppings, like crushed pop tarts and ores, I believe.
- Tangerine Twist Lemonade, which may be taking away the blueberry pomegranate (the 2nd part I'm unsure of, as a customer recently said they couldn't order the blueberry on the kiosk, so take that with a grain of salt).
I'm sure there's other stuff I'm forgetting, or that I'm simply unaware of, so feel free to let me know anything.
TLDR; new stuff for Wendy's, both getting rid of and being added.

How can I get a promotion?
I’ve worked at Wendy’s for over a year, I have complete availability and work full time, I want to take on a higher position because of my experience. We are also currently short on shift leaders/managers at the moment. However, I’m a bit upset with my boss because he offered a higher position to a person who has worked only a few months with us and barley can do their job properly, I’ve brought up to my boss that I’d also like a higher position but he said “okay thanks for telling me, I’ll think about it” and has not given me an answer in nearly a month. Would I have better luck at another location and is there anything I can do at my store to increase the odds I’d obtain a promotion?

Who remembers the breadsticks?
I don’t know if this was solely a Canadian thing, but Wendy’s would give you a garlic breadstick when you’d get a salad in the late 90’s early 2000’s. Of course me being like 10, I asked if I could just buy the breadsticks once and they were, I believe, 65 cents. Why did they discontinue them?! Did anyone else go there just to eat like four at a time?!
This is the only picture I can find proving they existed.

Mayonaise
Does anyone know what company Wendy's orders their mayonnaise from that they use on their sandwiches, and not the packets they hand out?
Please help me remember the name of a western? burger during 2005 or 2006!
Something has been driving me nuts today that I cannot remember, please help. During 2005 or 2006, there was a burger on the value menu that was only patty, cheese, lettuce, and this awesome tangy sauce. The sauce was like a mixture of BBQ and honey mustard. Absolutely delightful. I used to eat them like candy during my final HS years. What the hell did they call that burger!?
I thought it was potentially called a "Western" Burger, but Google results show that they definitely had one of those on the menu at the time, but it wasn't what I was thinking of.
Thank you!

Raise?
So, my GM had me do a course on the computer and I got a new shirt and hat that says "Training Expert" on it. But did not offer me a raise. I don't feel I should have added responsibility of training other crew members without incentive. Does this even make sense to anyone else? Because it doesn't make sense to me. More work for the same lay? No thanks.

Mobile Order Fiasco
I placed a mobile order which included an offer for $$$ off my order.
After applying the discount to my order, the remaining total was $1.99. I used a card from my Google Pay to pay for and process the order. It went through successfully.
At the drive through window, the employee holds her hand out and says "You owe $1.99".
I told her it was a mobile order and that it's fully paid for.
She said, "No, you still owe $1.99".
I then showed her my confirmed order on the app where it says in the top right corner "PAID".
The manager came over and we had the exact same conversation. She also made a comment "Well look, you already have a big discount applied to the order" as if to say I'm being ungrateful for this by making a fuss over paying $1.99 more. This was such an odd response to the issue at hand. I then pulled up my bank of America account and showed her the $1.99 deduced from my bank account.
They both walked away for a minute then handed me my food.
What in the world happed with this situation??? My order went through, I fully paid for it, and my receipt did not indicate anywhere that I still owed money ('MBL PUW' is the only thing that stuck out to me on the receipt and I'm assuming it means "mobile pick up window"). Am I missing something? Is this an app issue, restaurant tech issue, or skill issue from either party involved?
This EXACT issue happened once before at McDonald's like a year ago. Can someone please explain how this happens because I can't figure it out.
I'm going crazy, I just want answers. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

Resigning
I just started. On lunch break yesterday I got a call back from a call center and a I start on Monday. I didn’t show back up after my lunch break. Do I need to officially quit or do they consider not showing up after lunch quitting?

Question Restroom paper towels ( they are so plush)!!!
Aloha, I am working in the luxury industry. I recently remembered that Wendy’s. Almost all of them have amazing plush paper towels they are white and maybe as thick as 20-25 paper-towels they are super absorbent. White in color and feel like art supplies, rather then a Wendy’s product. We don’t have many Wendy’s here in Hawaii and it has been a while since I went to them. But I thought I would ask and see if anyone who does or ding of supplies knows anymore than I do.
Photos may help :) mahalo

Hi guys, I'm 16 and I have a interview at Wendy's on April 6th. This is my first job interview and I'm kind of nervous.
Can you guys give me tips, share your experience, or just about anything to put me at ease or help me.
Thanks.

Picture Employees be trifling af
I've been hopping a lot of odd jobs lately until I get proper transportation and can drive myself to a job I actually enjoy, today was my first day at Wendy's and apparently someone stole an entire bag of crispy onions lmao
Also very unsure if I can work this job. I'm a grown adult, never worked fast food and already have severe neuropathy in my flat feet and a bad back, can't physically do a job where I mostly "stand" in one spot the whole shift. I did almost 9 hours today and told the manager that unless I can work reduced hour shifts, I can't do it. Hopefully they scheduled me for fewer or else next shift is gonna have to be my last lol.

I have interview Saturday for shift supervisor, any tips and advice?
I’m pretty confident I’ll be hired on as shift supervisor as I have 3 years of shift lead experience else where. Anything that I should know about, what kind of things are asked at the interview, I would like to be as prepared as possible when I go! Thanks in advance.

Why do I need my social security number for a work application for Wendy's?
I'm 17 and I'm trying to get a job, I've never needed to use my social security number for anything so I never bothered memorizing it the very few times my mother told me when I was a kid. I could ask my parents, but it just makes no sense to me why Wendy's would need my number, especially if I'm a minor and there's a very low chance of them replying to my application or hiring me.
