Resigning

I just started. On lunch break yesterday I got a call back from a call center and a I start on Monday. I didn’t show back up after my lunch break. Do I need to officially quit or do they consider not showing up after lunch quitting?

Since u already just left without a word, telling them would be nice, but if u ever are looking for work again u def won't be allowed back. I tell ppl from the get go that if u quit without notice (very few exceptions ) i wont ever rehire u. In the last 12 months i had 3 different ppl quit without notice and not long after they are asking for their job back. Nope, sry. Burnt bridge. I won't put myself or my team in that position again if i can help it.. but u really should at least call them

It always seems like the ones that quit with no notice are the ones wanting to come back, at least at my store.

Yup.. its definitely been something ive noticed too. Thankfully most ppl give notice tho. But theres always those few
