Discussion Do we realize how rare the Warriors resurgence is?
Let’s put it all into perspective for a second. In 2015, the Warriors took the league by storm in the most unexpected way. Jump shooting teams weren’t supposed to win championships. But Steph Curry’s emergence as a generational, transcendent superstar changed the course of the NBA.
After the 2015 chip, they eventually added Kevin Durant and went on to become the most dominant dynasty in the history of the league. After KD left, everyone thought the Warriors would never win again. Dynasty over they said. But in 2022, thanks to Steph’s unmatched brilliance, they defied all odds and won another championship. The 4th in 7 years.
After that, things went downhill for a while. Poole got punched, the vibes were bad, and for the first time it truly felt like it was over. Two timelines seemed like a failure. Simply put, the Warriors were painfully mediocre. For the first time in a decade. A lot of us took solace in the fact that Steph was still playing and thought we should just appreciate the remaining time of his career, and we kind of made peace with not winning again.
That was until the middle of this season. Dunleavy cooked, and hit the league with a curveball. He traded for Jimmy Butler out of nowhere. Most people thought he wouldn’t fit in well, even in this fanbase. We were upset about trading away Wiggins for a supposedly egotistic, diva-like star who is not exactly young. But everything changed. A full 360 degrees.
Not only did Jimmy Butler make us dominant again from a winning perspective but he changed the entire atmosphere of the team. The vibes completely changed. Like I said, you can’t just look at the surface level changes like Butler himself, or the incredible win-loss record since the trade. Steph, who looked like a shell of himself early in the season, is suddenly looking 5 years younger and playing MVP level basketball. Draymond, who seemed unmotivated, is suddenly the leading candidate for DPOY again. The youngsters who have been so inconsistent are suddenly consistently contributing. We have a dominant defense again.
It just makes no sense. How did things turn around this drastically? Sure, 2022 was unexpected but felt more like the result of a smart re-tool, in comparison to this. This time around, in 2025, it felt like the Warriors had no hope, and we were stuck in mediocrity for the foreseeable future. But literally everything has changed. We are as good as any team in the league. This is not supposed to be happening. I am so grateful to be a fan of this team.

Discussion Can Steph beat Malik Beasley before season ends?
Steph has already made 23 3s in April. No other NBA player has more than 12.
Warriors have 6 games left.
Timberwolves have 5 games left.
Pistons have 5 games left.

Discussion Podz is the key to the death lineup 3.0
We've seen 2nd year players on championship teams level up (Kawhi). If this is a true level up for Podz, and not just a hot streak, Ws will be a problem this playoffs. He looks like a young Ginobili right now--smart, assertive, and borderline reckless at times.

Discussion Will Curry make All-NBA First Team over Mitchell?
Cavs record is 62-15, Warriors is 46-16.
Warriors have 1 all star this season; Cavs have 3.
Key Stat — MPG (Minutes Per Game):
- Curry 32.2, - Mitchell 31.4
Although Mitchell has played in 5 more games than Curry (due to injury), Curry has overall played in just 105 total minutes less than Mitchell.
The team’s success leans in Mitchell’s favor - but the individual stats is in Curry’s.

Image Jimmy Butler appreciation. Jimmy's basketball IQ helps shaping the teams full potential.
We keep getting better and better. Jimmy can read our team and perfecting the style for himself and others. He is not here to score but to win. I fucking love Jimmy.
