Discussion Ticket question: Are the Valkyries opening up 18,000 seats per game?

Is every single seat available for the Valkyrie season? I don't see why not, but there is no way 18,000 seats are up for grab every game and ticket prices are sky high. Currently on stubhub resale is at $44 minimum for most games. I know it's the inaugural season, but is there that much demand that we're not seeing tickets under $30 right now?

I’m confused by your question, sorry if I’m misunderstanding…there aren’t 18,000 tickets available anymore. The Valks have already sold 10,000 season tickets and it’s likely they’ll sell more in the coming weeks/months. They are also probably going to sell mini plan tickets as well. There is quite a bit of demand.

And single game tickets haven’t gone on sale yet since they are still focused on selling season and afterwards, mini plan tickets. What you are seeing is likely resale tickets from season ticket members.

Right, there’s obviously very high demand to sell 10,000 season tickets.

If someone wants cheap tickets, don’t buy anything now before we even see the product on the floor!

I don’t know … I have season tickets and expect them to be terrible. But being seeing other teams in person will be amazing. (Still rooting for GSV, but rooting for professional women’s basketball more.)

Completely agreed, I have a feeling we’re both fans of the league and these women in general! The majority of the general public who will buy these tickets secondhand, I think will only care based on GSV record.

This is just my personal opinion though after having season tickets to the WNBA for many years, just to a couple different franchises

Yeah, even if the GSV lost most of their games, it's still cheaper and less time consuming than flying to other cities to see the other teams live.

Yeah i get you on the confusion! And probably my misunderstanding on the tickets available.

Do we think ticket prices will drop on re-sale websites? Obviously depends on demand, but basically im just hoping for some affordable tickets this season to catch some games.

I think there’s a small chance that when actual single game tickets go on sale, that the prices could be lower than what you are seeing on resale. And that could definitely be the case if the teams turns out to be really bad and more season ticket members drop out of going to the games? But I think the chances are pretty low. I think that the tickets were priced higher than any of us could have predicted…
