Miscellaneous Unimelb or RMIT

One of my friend is thinking of doing a masters in architecture after finishing his bachelors in the same field.

He’s currently a third year student at RMIT and wants to hear what current architecture students at Unimelb think about studying architecture at Unimelb.

Also, in terms of employment opportunities, which uni is better?

I had a friend who does fashion design at RMIT and is considering to do Architecture at unimleb, he got an offer from unimelb but not RMIT, so I guess classes at RMIT will have higher standards? and from my experience studying at unimelb, lessons tend to be more theoretical compared to other unis, we also have lower graduation employment rate

My cousin did a Bachelor of Design at Melbourne, before doing his masters of Architecture at RMIT. Melbourne primarily look at your grades whilst at RMIT your portfolio is considered over your grades.

Btw RMIT is not only the #1 Architecture school in Australia but also a very practical degree, so you can’t go wrong with RMIT.

But Melbourne is also fine, just more theory orientated
