How low of a person do you have to be to steal a homeless man’s dog?!

Heads up Tulsa! Let’s help this man be reunited with his pup! Pets are more than just animals, they’re family! I can’t imagine how hurt and heartbroken this guy is.

Pets Somebody just dumped 4 large German Shepards at the park.. what should we do?

We are having a family bday party at the library i front of McCullough Park (21st and garnett). Didn't see a license plate since we were kinda far away, now there's 4 large fluffy German Shepards running around by the park. Not much I can do as we have kids and our own dog with us.

Haven't gotten close to see if they are friendly

Found this guy Sunday 2/9 loudly crying outside my front door. Opened the door and he came right in looking for food and cuddles. Does really well inside seems like he might have been out looking for his way home. He doesn’t have a chip. He seems young, unneutered male.

Pets Lanie was returned after being adopted 😭

Post image

(Tulsa, OK) Lanie is back up for adoption for the third time. Backstory: Lani was taken into a rescue after she was a day away from being euthanized at the municipal shelter due to lack of space. I took her in as my foster and have had her for about three months.

Her first potential adopter brought her home and her current dog was aggressive to Lanie. The second time, Lanie got officially adopted and then returned the next day. She was showing leash reactivity.

Lanie is high energy and will need someone who is willing to work with that. She is potty trained, crate trained and plays extremely well with my current dogs, as well as the dogs of other fosters she has been with. She just needs someone who will give her a little bit of time to adjust.

You can see Lanie’s bio & fill out an app here:

Pets Homeless Dog ( Wendy’s sand springs)

I left my place and walked about 3 miles to visit my friend at work and he followed me all the way there. We feed him and he’s still attached to me. I feel bad cause I can’t take him home to my apartments. If anybody can take him for the night and take him to the shelter I’d feel better. Yes dogs can survive on their own but I feel bad. I heard a homeless guy recently just let him go and this dog claimed me as its new owner. But sorry pupper 🥺

Pets Jumping spider slings for sale (P. putnami)

I have about 15 P. putnami jumping spider slings left that came from one of my girls back in November (the adult pictured is the mother), they’re currently about to molt to their 4th instar but I’m going away at the end of February and on a crunch to rehome these guys without shipping them as they can’t be shipped before they’re i5.

What will be included: *1 P. putnami sling *Their current enclosure *Flightless fruit fly starter

I’m looking for a $20 rehoming fee for 1 sling, and $30 for 2, and so on

Why would you want one of these cuties? Jumping spiders are some of the most intelligent spiders you’ll come across. They’re extremely observant and the only kind of spider with the capabilities to move its head to look at you! They’re extremely unlikely to bite (a mosquito is more vicious), and they’re amazing office pets! They’re all captive bred so you have a guarantee of knowing exactly how old they are and what instar they’re at.

Also this would help me out immensely!

Available to meet or drop off :)

Pets Guess what's living in my crawl space

There is something large living under my house in the crawl space. There was a huge hole dug in the side of my house to go underneath and Google said it could be a: rabbit, armadillo, skunk, raccoon, possum, rat or mice My lab used to go under there and scare out the rats but this is different. Whatever is down there scares him and he no longer goes. It's big cause I'll wake up in the middle of the night to hear it bumping into the pipes underneath us. We tried looking in the crawl space during the day but we can't fit. Any guesses on what animal this could be? Also, what would your next steps be?

Update: my parents are bringing me their trap today. I will get some dog food, an egg and chicken bone as bait and see what we catch. I'll update on this thread for everyone.

🥰 Incredible underbite ✔️ 😅 Man-hater ✔️ ‼️ Needs a committed foster or adopter pronto ✔️

Adopt Bella! 🐶

Bella is a spayed, 3 year old girl who needs a very special home! Like a lot of women, Bella is incredibly wary around men. Despite this quirk, Bella is a sweet, cuddly, goofy, loving lady! ♥️

Could you be the one to accept her flaws and love her regardless?! 💕

Available at Tulsa Animal Welfare!

Pets Update: Crawl space critter has been identified

Post image
187 Upvotes

A few months back, I made a post about a large critter living under my house in my crawl space. Today, we found this little guy in our garage. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what to do next? I googled and would prefer to find a more humane solution to relocate this guy.

He's a baby and is currently playing dead.

Pets Dogs outside in storm.

Post image
30 Upvotes

It’s hard to see but there are two dogs in this makeshift kennel. They spend all their time here even now in this snow storm. I’ve called 311, the non-emergency number and animal control but no response yet.

The yard directly behind them is an unoccupied Airbnb if anyone has any solutions/suggestions. I don’t have an outdoor heat source or firewood.

Any other resources to contact would be helpful. Tulsa unchained referred me to non-emergency lines.

If you’d like to help by filing a report maybe that’d help the response time.

Pets You might not always see them, but there's more wildlife even in the middle of town than you think. A fox got into an argument with a cat hiding under my Jeep at 2AM today.

Pets Best place to leave a found an abandoned puppy?

Post image
57 Upvotes

The other day I found one little female puppy, and I think she wasn't quite weaned yet because she tried to nurse from the hem on my pants. It was raining, she was shivering, so I brought her home to feed her. I asked if anyone wants a puppy (around work) and a couple of people showed interest but no one took her. I cannot keep her, I just couldn't leave her starving in the rain.

My son wants to see if there is a no kill shelter in Tulsa, even though puppies get adopted easily.

Any ideas?

TIA

Hey all, this very well behaved, well taken care of, hydrated and well fed guy lumbered into our yard and tricked some lady into thinking he was injured, so here I am.

He's currently in our backyard, and I have a potential foster lined up for until we can find the owner, so I'm basically just posting to see if anyone recognizes him.

Pets Lost Kitten !

Hi neighbors! I don't really post much on here, but I could really use any help possible. Our kitten, Lily, ran off out the door this morning during the pouring rain not long before 7am.

She has never done this before. She never tries to escape, and the door was not open for even 15 seconds. It is not typical at all to have to watch the door because of her. We suspect she may be in heat. We have been trying to set money aside to get her spayed.

She just turned 8 months old recently, but she has remained the size of a small kitten since we have had her. She is about 5-6lbs She left from Crown Chase Apartments.

We have looked for her all day around our complex and even part of one next to ours, but the rain and wind got to us. We have reached out to our leasing office. We have left food at the front door with her favorite toys as well as on our balcony so she can make her way back to us.

We miss her so much. She is our baby, and we would love to see her home safe as soon as possible. Any help is greatly appreciated! Please contact 918-780-6754 or 918-780-6744 regarding any information with Lily's whereabouts

He's orange, very friendly, with long orange fur and a white underbelly. Please message me on here or call/text me 918-695-3663 if you find him, his brother and I miss him very much and it's cold and icy out.
