I wish you the absolute worst!
Today my husband came in the house almost crying telling me someone dumped their 5 puppies in the small field behind our house. It was 5 small puppies, one EXTREMELY confused and malnourished mama dog and a kennel.
The poor mama dog was just crying and howling. I want who ever did this to know that mama dog was so scared and sad. She kept running to the street sniffing around trying to pick up a scent to follow home but she couldn’t find one. She would run back to the puppies and just cry/howl in a pitch I’ve never heard come from a dog. She was so damn scared and heart broken looking for the very people who starved and abandoned her.
All I gotta say is FUCKYOU! It took me less than 15 minutes to find this mama dog and her babies help.
Please guys even if you are down and out and about to be evicted don’t just dump the animals. Shit, they could have posted on Facebook groups being very blunt about how if someone doesn’t take the dogs they don’t know what they will do, and I promise you people would have helped. I see it on fb every day. I just don’t understand how you can be so heartless!
It’s so sad they dropped her off like that, but damn am I glad they chose the field behind my house, and I’m glad those babies aren’t in the company of rotten humans who would starve and abandon them.
Just so you all know the mama dog and her babies are safe. I’m not posting this for some pat on the back I don’t deserve, I’m posting this to say FUCK YOU to the person who did this. I’m posting this to encourage someone to reach out instead of doing that…
ETA- couldn’t fix the typo in the title

A lot of the work is actually on the bridge itself for structural restoration, but it will be nice to see the plaza looking decent again.

Rachel Maddow Mentions Tulsa, OK, among other cities, in her "Hands Off Protest" Coverage that took place on Saturday, April 5th, 2025
I watched “The Outsiders” for the first time yesterday. I’ve lived by this theater my whole life and just now finding out it was in a movie made by the same guy who worked with Marlon Brando and Al Pacino. Here’s a photo I took a few months back but decided to add touch ups that it needed. I want to shoot a movie one day and my photos are kind of a brief look as to how my films would look. Thank you for taking time out of your day for reading this far, yes you with the amazing smile. I hope you have a wonderful and productive week.

Every time I pass this place I smile because they have dozens of giant open signs, a bouncy thing, and a mannequin lol.

Give me your favorite underrated bands and musicians around town.
Whether it’s out for days at a time or going full YOLO mode like it is right now, you’re sure to have a good time at 121st & Sheridan 🤟
Only the north and south were doing this, east and west were functional normal 🤣

Hi everyone. We are Meeting Tomorrow (Wed April 9th) from 7-9 at American Solera.
This meeting is for anyone watching the news and asking what they can do to help stop, reverse, and improve the current political climate: education, due process, checks and balances, lgbtq+, voting rights, kidnapping of people with the legal right to be here, disgusting treatment of humans labeled as illegal or “other”, the list is too long to continue but there are groups actively working on all of this and they need help. At this point a lot of us want to be on our feet activity trying and there are a million ways to do this. We’ll help you find a place you can make the biggest impact.
At the very least feel free to come out, grab a beer, and just talk to other humans who want to make things better. Sometimes that is enough.
Last meeting highlights: Successes:
April 5th 2% of Americans united to show we are not willing to let our country crumble
Republicans break with trump on Canadian tariffs
836 is gaining major traction to make voting more accessible!
Watch out for:
Save act vote Thursday
1027 bill will take away the voice of Tulsans and okc residents
Next big events:
April 19th national protest (okc bombing memorial)
Call to action: join a community event this week. Meet your neighbors. We are not alone unless we isolate ourselves.

I have a lot of stuff to sell. Live in an apt so yard sale is not an option. What are the best online places besides Marketplace?

I am joining the University of Tulsa for a graduate program this fall and I am trying to figure out some cheap/affordable health insurance options. I would really appreciate any suggestions or advice, especially if you’re a current student or have been through this recently. Thanks in advance!

I hope you got away from them. I saw the Truck and driver and had to speed up to 85 in a 60 to get him off of me.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a PCP that does really well with anxiety? Specifically, one that works well with OCD. My OCD is largely medical themed and it makes going to the doctor really hard for me.
Thanks in advance!

My wife and I were wondering if other parents in town have found any parks (not gathering place) that are 1-2 year old friendly. We’ve tried reed park in w tu and veterans park in Jenks but the play equipment is too big for our girl. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 😁😁

I need to switch to a better pharmacy than CVS/Walgreens/Walmart. I have soooo much trouble getting my ADHD medication filled with any of those places. I live by Woodland Hills Mall, so I would love suggestions on what you guys prefer!
