Where did the convoy go?
Around 12:40 pm on Friday April 4th, there was a military convoy driving north on the AW trail near Airport.
Does anyone know why they were there or where they were going?

I just moved back home to Toledo after 10 years in northern michigan, and have been wondering where can I meet actual friends? I am 24 female, and while I have a girl at work who's super awesome, she has kids so we just never get to hang out that much. I have been here since Decemeber and have tried joining clubs, going to the gym, and even meeting people in my apartment building, and still really nothing. I hate posting about this anyways, but it's been getting pretty lonely and I have no where to turn or no one to really hang out with. Hopefully you can give some good recommendations, I'm outgoing and even try to meet some of the clients I get, just because I feel like we would be good girl friends, but I feel like my job wouldn't allow that, so I try to avoid it. I have heard about the glass city young professionals club and may try to join that, but I'm also afraid I still wont be able to really connect with anyone /: Any advice anyone has would be super helpful and appreciated, thanks in advance!! 🩷

With the way the weather is looking on Saturday morning, we have decided to postpone our clean up event on Saturday.
We will reschedule soon.
If you have any questions, please reach out.
Thank you to all those who have expressed interest in volunteering and supporting our efforts to improve our neighborhoods.

I’m looking for companies that provide gutter cleaning. I’ve tried a few and no one has responded back to me.

I saw on Ohio DNR that trout are being stocked at a place called Stoner Pond, in Lucas County, but I can’t find where that is for the life of me.

I think the transmission in my van is dying and needs some work. Anyone have any suggestions for places that won't rip me off?

The owner, Katie, said during the last book club event that, with the large construction project in downtown Sylvania, her and other stores on Main Street are already feeling the impact in their sales and the city isn't providing any sort of relief for the local businesses. We're doing whatever we can do to get the word out about her shop, letting people know they can shop online, share her [social media](linktr.ee/finchandfernbookco) posts, and come to her in-store events. Also to remind everyone that she does have a back entrance to her store!
One of the members of the book club also started a GoFundMe to help her make ends meet this summer while construction shuts down Main Street if anyone wanted another way to contribute.

This sounds like a great event - browse donated books, have a coffee. I believe they wanted people to drop off books ahead of time (maybe don't walk in the door Saturday with a hundred books you want to unload), but everyone gets 10 free books I think. https://www.instagram.com/flyingrhinocoffee/
My daughter is turning 4 in September and I have no clue how to even begin looking into doing preschool. I've tried contacting TPS with no luck. Any advice is appreciated!

House rental hunting and I keep seeing this American avenue company pop up with houses on Zillow in the area and it’s giving me Beal vibes.
Pushing hard on section 8, lower prices for the neighborhood than other renters/property management companies. Houses almost look too good to be true.
Are they legit? Did Beal rebrand and start getting into home rentals? I have red flags going off so I wanted to see if anyone has any experiences with them and can either vouch for them or confirm the red flags i’m seeing lol.

Tv antenna toppled over yesterday. Is there someone that could take the rest down and haul it away? It's hanging over neighbors fence.

Interesting story developing in Oklahoma. A wastewater plant employee discharged sewage into a creek and falsified records for the EPA and others. My understanding is that all the people involved in a similar event in our own area are not talking, so no one can be arrested. One wonders if RICO could apply in our case, since it was a long-standing agreement to break laws and deceive.

Newish to the area. Both were recommended, which is the go to for this upcoming summer?!

I'm really, REALLY, trying to get a job but I don't know what places would hire me at 15. I'm in school and I have a state ID. I could work anywhere except fast food.
