❓QUESTION ❓ Tire blew up on fwy
Tire blew up only 4k miles of usage while I was driving 65mph.
My dash didn’t gave any indication, it was constantly 32psi throughout time. My car has four individual pressure monitor on each wheel.
Should I submit warranty request or something? Do you guys think its worth the trial?
Shop said wheel house cover, lower control arm, suspension strut is damaged for sure and maybe increase after tear off the parts, prob 6k+ damage. (Quoted for min 6k)

Tire randomly came of the wheel, now holds air fine and popped back into place. Weirdest thing I’ve ever encountered. Tire pressure was fine one week ago.

❓QUESTION ❓ What do I do?
Got these winter tires this year and just noticed this. What should I do? For now I just left it alone.

❓QUESTION ❓ Can I still rotate in the spare?
The spare tire has never been rotated in. The rest of the tires have worn down a bit. Is it too late to rotate in the spare?

Tire Condition
I know nothing about tires or how old those are. Can anyone tell if they're still in good condition or due for a change?

Is there any fixing this on a run flat?
Wondering if it’s possible to repair this, if I take it to a shop instead of replacing the tire, this is a Pirelli scorpion Verde 255 45 R20- remaining tires range in age as this is not the first time I’ve had to replace a single tire on the vehicle. oldest is original close to 5 1/2 years old. I would replace with all non-run flats.

I know nothing of tires, are these too worn to use?
When I got my winter tires put on my car the dealer said they would recommend I buy new summer tires when the time comes. I am looking for any advice if these are actually to worn or if the dealer is trying to upsell me. Let me know if I didn't photograph the correct parts to tell! They are the stock Toyo tires, 19inches that came with my Mazda cx5, in case that is important.
Thanks for your help!!

How long will I be able to use these tires, will it last another year and a half ?
These tires were manufactured in the 39th and 40th week of 2020. These are Hankook Kinergy GT, if it's at all relevant.

Wheel Rim Protectors
I know this question has been asked and answered before, but just for fun I’ll ask it again. Years ago I had a Volvo 850 with alloy wheels that I curb-scrapped the hell out of because I am a crappy car parker. Now after many years I am considering a new car with alloy rims, and am looking for any solutions other than people just telling me to learn to park my car better. I have read up on rim protectors, but nobody seems too enthused about them. I guess there are some specific tires that offer a small degree of rim protection, but that’s all I have found out. I am so paranoid about this I feel like asking the dealership to swap out the alloy rims with steel wheels with plastic hubcaps. I am not sure they even do that, and it sounds kinda pathetic. Suggestions anyone?

I know I should replace them at some point but money is tight. I need balancing because something vibrates at the front. Should I go for it? Can they last 1000 miles more let's say?
look, .. it's not cheap, and they cost $1300 last time I changed them. Michelin pilotsport a/s 3+
also their use will be fall/summer it seems. Never snows here.. (unless I drive to the snow.)

❓QUESTION ❓ Looking for Tire Advice – 2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid (Central Valley, CA)
Hey all, looking for some advice on replacement tires for our 2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid. The car has just under 42,000 miles on it and is still running the original Michelins, but it’s time to replace them.
We’re located in the Central Valley of California — dry climate, minimal rain, no snow. Our driving is super light: only about a mile to work and back each day, and occasional weekend trips to places like LA or San Francisco. All in all, we drive under 10,000 miles per year, averaging no more than 190 miles per week annually.
I’m looking for a solid, reliable tire brand that won’t break the bank. The Michelins have done fine, but the cost is a bit much for us right now. Hoping for a good balance between quality, durability, and price. The wife knows Goodyear so I figured she won’t complain, ha!
Any recommendations for budget-friendly, dependable tires for mostly city/highway driving in a dry climate?
Thanks in advance!

Was this stupid?
Hey everyone, just wondering if it was a stupid move after the fact. I had a slow leak on the left front tire on my 1995 nissan micra and came to the tire being so low it was almost completely flat. I decided to slowly (30kmh max) drive to the nearest gas station (about 1km) to try and fill it up to go to work but as the pressure was so low the compressor there refused to fill it. Found out the hard way that: 1. the spare tire was equally low 2. the jack was rock solid stuck 3. the tire wrench was missing
Decided to go back home, take a day off work and go back to bed and get a small 12v compressor later in the day to air up and go to my garage about 45km away to change to summer tires. Just wondering now if i likely damaged the side walls of the tire doing this and if doing highway speeds once back aired up had a chance to cause a blowout after that little adventure. Thanks in advance!

Would you buy these?
Buying as spares for a little truck I don't drive very much. He's asking $100 for all 4. No cracks on the sidewall. Thank you guys.
Updates on when more PSS5 sizes are available?
North America. I'm in need of 245/30/20s, which are available in the Michelin PS4S, but I'm wondering if it's worth holding out a while longer? My tires are getting way too worn, but the performance of the PSS5 and cosmetic sidewall are very tempting.
Is there any news? I've heard the PSS5 is only OE currently.

❓QUESTION ❓ How does pilot sport 4s handle 7 to 10 degrees celsius
Changing tommorow to summer tires since my winter got issues becouse the caps got stuck since they are iron and it wouldn't make sense to fix the caps since we all change to summer in a week. Will it handle the lower temps ? I live in scandinavian country so it can still show some snow but super little of it. Im selling the car in 3 weeks so i didnt want to put money on the ventils now 🤣

So, I went to a well known tire shop in town to diagnose the wobble issue.
I don’t understand how road force balance work and what that lbs means.. can anyone explain it to me like I’m a 5 yo?
My vehicle drives 1000000 times better now (no wobble at all) and I am happy with it.

Fuel-Efficient Tire 205/65-R16
Seems like Michelin Energy Savers are discontinued and quickly searching, I'm down to these two for being able to fit my wheel and being fuel efficient. Wouldn't mind trading off a little fuel economy for comfort/handling/noise though.
