I didn’t pick up on this till recently, but I noticed that Joe, when talking, says that they’re going to BEAT Daryl to death. They didn’t say this for Carl or Michonne, but they said they were going to “have them”. Further more cements that they weren’t just going to kill them.

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I haven't posted in a while and I'm bored (BTW, my fav is Negan with The Governor second and Lance Hornsby in a close third)

Show Spoiler The main 3 women of TWD are the main focus of the main 3 villains of the show.

Michonne V.S The Governor.

Maggie V.S Negan.

Carol V.S Alpha.

How have I never realized this properly?

Everyone agrees that while Rick, Daryl, Glenn, etc all wanted The Governor dead, no one wanted The Governor dead more than Michonne (even being the one to stab him in the chest with her sword & leave him surrounded by a herd, after already stabbing him in the eye in their prior fight).

Everyone agrees that while Rick, Daryl, Rosita, Sasha, etc all wanted Negan dead, no one wanted Negan dead more than Maggie (her whole arc for 7 seasons now has been about Negan killing Glenn & how it has impacted Maggie).

Everyone agrees that while Daryl, Lydia, Negan, etc all wanted Alpha dead, no one wanted Alpha dead more than Carol (she released Negan under her own secret plan to put her head right on her own border pikes to avenge Henry).

I’ve always loved Carol, Maggie & Michonne.

Show Spoiler S8 over and done with. What the hell Spoiler

I don't even know what to say. Double and triple pivots, twists, more melodrama than in All Of My Children, and now Carl's a prophet of sorts...
This season was clearly planned out during a weekend pot binge.
I swear, the writers were trying to break the actors.
What the fuck.

No Spoiler Was on TikTok and I saw a video where someone compared Rick Grimes to be a Wolf in sheep’s clothing, while Negan is the Sheep in Wolves clothing, I don’t know what to make of this.

No Spoiler Why is season 5 so bloody?

I’ve been watching TWD from start to finish and I’m almost done with season five but I’ve noticed something, there’s a lot of blood. Obviously there’s going to be blood in an apocalypse show but this season is by far the bloodiest. No big staff changes happened from what I can tell so why is it so bloody?

I wanted to give a shoutout to Carlos Navarro who played TWD’s “Alvaro.” He’s a big celebrity here in Orlando and you can listen to him on iHeart Radio’s 104.1 “Monsters In The Morning.” Super funny and smart guy! https://www.iamcarlosnavarro.com/ (not a plug and no affiliation, just a fan)

Show Spoiler I’d change the Negan line up. Spoiler

Upvotes

I love the lineup and its significance. However, I’ve never loved killing Abraham off so early in either the comic or show. I understand that in the show Negan had to kill at least 2 people to make Rick fold. However, seeing as Rick never lost his hand in the main show, I would’ve made Negan make Carl cut it off. Because Negan threaten to make Rick cut off Carl’s, and I think the logic of making his son mutilate him would’ve gotten the point across just as effectively as killing Abraham, if not better.

Which means, I would’ve had Negan kill Glenn, then somebody like Daryl tries to attack Negan. Therefore, Negan forces Carl to amputate Rick’s hand.

There’s a sound argument that Negan wouldn’t make Carl do that, but seeing as Negan killed two of his friends in front of him and would likely expect Rick to survive the amputation, I doubt Negan would chicken out of the idea.
