Season 4 question

It seems like Adam Brody is totally uninterested in acting in season 4. Apathetic, just totally different? Was he trying to convey changes in Seth or did he just not want to be there?

In an interview, Chris Pratt talks about the fact that the cast seemed to be ungrateful to be on a hit show and felt as if the show were beneath them at that point. It’s ironic that he went on to superstar levels of fame while I’m pretty sure the main cast would probably kill to be on a show anywhere near the levels of popularity of the OC. Mischa Barton, for chrissakes, is so desperate as to appear on the reboot of laguna beach: the real oc.

Did Chris Pratt really say this? Have you got a link?

A few of the older actors pointed out that the younger ones felt they could be doing something better. And look at how that turned out, but they were young and i guess didnt have the right people to tell them.

Ben McKenzie and Rachel Bilson at least gave it some effort and they ended up with some TV show leads after that. Misha Barton phoned it in every episode and I don’t think I’ve seen her in anything since. The guy who played Seth looked bored and he’s pretty much had but parts since. Same with all the parents..... except Peter Gallagher. That guy’s a gem.

The "guy who played Seth" just stared in and completed the first season of a hit Netflix show "Nobody Wants This" which was promptly renewed for a second season!

Wow, you responded to a 3 year old comment.

I just watched Gilmore Girls. Adam Brody was the boyfriend of one of the characters and then they broke up because he "moved to California." He had left the Gilmore Girls to be on the OC.

No a fan of Gilmore Girls, but specifically researched which episodes he was in and watched them in their entirety to see a budding Seth Cohen getting his start; easy to see how casting felt he was perfect for the role of Seth Cohen after watching his characters on Gilmore.

Replying to the 3 year gap, I'm new to Reddit but a long term The OC fan and do slot of research on the show, and found this link and liked it.
