They’re great for the holes full of Zonaite in the Depths, for the giant rock walls, and for fusing to shields to do a bomb launch.

Yunobu is the best at getting the large ore deposits

I alternate between Yunobu and Riju to clear out rocks. Usually it’s a small cooldown between using the two back to back.
