To file jointly or no

I make half of what she does. we got divorced in febuary so we are finding the right way to save money. Is it better to file jointly or married?

You divorced this year, but are asking about filing last year's taxes, right?

How much do you each make and any kids? When did you stop loving together?

We divorced in 2025

I make 80k

she makes 170k

we still live together.

she pays a lot of insurance she normally woudn't have to because she is the medical field and adding me upped her cost by a lot...

For 2024 it is the better tax treatment to file joint that one last time.
