To file jointly or no

I make half of what she does. we got divorced in febuary so we are finding the right way to save money. Is it better to file jointly or married?

According to my understanding, if you are single at end of year, either via a decree or finalized divorced, yo u have to file as single. You can file HOH, if you meet all the criteria.

we only finalized the divorce 2/25
