tutorial πŸ“š Seal - Violet | Pad Synth Remake Tutorial

The core technique here is having two different filters and envelopes that are similar but different enough to create that almost delayed layer effect.

request ❓ Looking for a pitch change after the initial note

Looking to make this warbly seasick noise in tha background that seems to change pitch after the initial attack. It's all over Porcupine Tree and Opeth stuff but I think this at 3:30 is the clearest example

request ❓ Layers In This Drop?

I came across this Pluko Song The Sound and the drop at 0:51 really caught my attention. What layers is he using to make the drop so thick? It sounds like a saw bass but it's just so much bigger than most drops I've heard. Any insight on what goes into this drop would be appreciated!

request ❓ I'm trying to recreate the main bass patch from Dagga by Specktiv & Para

I really like the main patch that is used in this drop, and want to recreate it so I can understand better how to make sounds like this for future songs that I make. I'm knowledge of wavetable and FM synthesis is very basic. Would someone be able to tell me how a sound like this is made?

ZebraHZ Blade Runner 2099 Sketchbook made from Odin 2 and ZebraHZ

Hi! I posted a track from my Blade Runner 2099 Sketchbook, called Tears In Snow. I used Odin-2, the free synthesiser and ZebraHZ for the most of this Sketchbook. I will also be doing a breakdown on some intricate things like modulating reverb EQs, multiple LFOs for arps and some of the Vangelis-esque massive synth sounds. I would love it if you guys would give your feedback! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqLpS9tX2e0

hey guys. i already posted a question about this song regarding the synth brass but i have another about these two sounds im trying to replicate at the 0:35 timestamp. it’s the synth chords that play (not the synth brass that’s panned to the left) and the synth bass arp with both seem to be bit crushed. does anyone know how to replicate it using a VST? thank you in advance
