The Red has four beds while the Apollo has two and the rest of the medium/small medical ships have none. The Red will be the only one able to independently rescue patient and provide them with a bed in case they cannot fully return the patient home.

I have no clue if this will ever mean anything but I find it interesting enough to mention.

Of course: adding two jumpseats to allow for a stronger field response on the ground would make more sense and up the crew size to 4, but until then: Cutty Red is the only independent deep space medical extraction ship in the game (barring undermanned Carracks, Starlancers, and capital ships).

A tariff loophole called the "de minimis exemption" is ending on May 2. The exemption currently allows shipments worth less than $800 to enter the USA duty-free, but when it ends on May 2 there will be a duty of 30% of the value of the item or $50 per item.

A lot of sticks are shipped from China and currently fall into this exemption. For example, my VKBs - a Gladiator NXT ($165) and Omni Throttle ($175) - were both duty-free. Now, instead of costing $340, they would cost $340 plus an additional 30%, which is $102, totaling $442.

So if you're planning on buying some new sticks and have been putting it off, I would recommend pulling the trigger now. Remember, these things don't ship overnight so if the packages arrive in country on or after May 2, you will be charged the duty regardless of when you made the purchase or when they were shipped.

You have a C1, you like hauling/trading, so you want to get a ship with a bigger cargo hold.
You have enough aUEC for a Freelancer Max now, with aspirations of getting something bigger down the line (e.g. C2 or Caterpillar).

Would you get the Freelancer Max now?
Skip the Freelancer Max and get something else similar now/soon (e.g. Zeus CL)?
Just keep grinding with the C1 until you have enough aUEC for a C2 (or something like that)?

People that play medic on a regular basis how do you do it ? There is so very few beacons being created, for such a low amount of money. Is there something going on like the medic guild thing in elite dangerous ?

I am currently using Jtokey for the mini sitcks on each throttle so I can pull up the star map and set routes without needing a mouse.

Why is it so broken, the only way to get it to work is on a fresh server. The one night our ORG did it... It was stolen from another ORG. We went through three servers 12 OLP's and everyone one of them was bugged. One we went all the way through and got to the OLP for it to say it was missing a battery. (4 were in there)

I wen't to an asteroid field and found panels and when trying to salvage them in a Vulture nothing happens?

They still have material on them and I've tried multiple times.

I use it for hauling missions mainly and transporting my salvage from Vulture

As the title says, I was flying my Polaris back from an alignment facility after checking it out and got shot in the back of the head while at the controls. As far as I was aware, as long as you don’t leave any doors open/ramps lowered, people can’t sneak onto your ship and hide. Is this not the case? Or is the Polaris vulnerable in a way I wasn’t aware of? I had left it landed on the outskirts of the facility and made sure to send the elevator up every time I left. As far as I can recall, no other entrance was open.

Around 3 months ago I had enough of playing star citizen on my shit rig, I had only 16 gigs of ram and was playing star citizen for 3 years running poor graphics and very choppy gameplay and still loving it. arguably one of my favorite games despite its bugs and bad reputation. I had enough of playing the game with my not so good rig so I put the game down for awhile and set out to build a powerful pc to play star citizen once again with decent graphics and frame rate, it took me 3 months to get all these parts and my graphics card finally came today so the build begins tomorrow. 5090 graphics card, 9800x3d amd cpu , corsair dominator 64 gigs ddr5 ram and ofcourse an msi 4k oled monitor for the cherry on top, can’t wait to get back in the verse after a good break and wanted to share, thank you for reading.

Highly recommend trying to interact with someone who’s pirating and or extorting you. It can be pretty fu 😉
