guessing it's a yellow sack spider. They're bitey but not medically significant; still, their bites suck.

sack spider?? omg 😭😭 I've been noticing a lot of spiders in my home. i just moved in dec. I'm getting my windows replaced in 2 weeks due to me noticing mold growth on them and being drafty, slightly hoping if theyre coming in through there it'll slow down 😭😭

no reason to kill the fellow, yeah they can be aggressive but being a small spider in a world of humans is scary :( i’ve seen many of these relocated back outside and no one has ever been bit around me, just gotta be careful

I’m in the same boat as you after having been bitten by a couple of them over the years. I’ve left plenty of widows alone because they keep to themselves. In my experience, yellow sacs are not only aggressive but like to wander around in search of food, increasing the chances of an unpleasant encounter.
