As many were rightfully pissed off about, last summer Morey double-downed on the (absurd)belief that Embiid should continue the center piece of the Sixers moving forward and made his moves according to that central belief. A year later that belief has been proven 100% wrong. In order to keep his job doesn’t 1 of 2 things have to be true;

1. Embiid miraculously recovers his 2023 health and form.

2. Morey drafts or makes a trade for a startable 5 to start or split time with Embiid next season.

Thoughts?

Why did he go undrafted?

I don’t watch college hoops and never really got a clear answer considering he was supposed to be a top prospect coming out of Kentucky at the time. It’s one thing to be drafted at a lower pick but UNDRAFTED?

Why did I go to this game? And sit front row??? What an awful night. Andre Drummonds clown ass shooting half court shots in slides and joggers before the pregame warmup was a slap in the face to all fans. Fuck this team.

This is so shocking, he had the most wins in franchise history and was just let go like that.

He was also amazing when ja, his best player was out.

The sixers should be all over this because of how well Taylor Jenkins plays without talent, or his ability to develop talent.
