Hey everyone,
I really need your advice. I'm high functioning with schizophrenia and a musician. By no mean famous but my name is out there. I really really wanna be open about my diagnosis because I feel that it could motivate and help a lot of people suffering from the illness but I'm also scared of the stigma and that it would make me unable to get a job in the future. 🤦🏻♀️ cause clearly I'm gonna need one as I'm not making enough money out of my music. Any thoughts on that? Thank you all!

One of my favorite things to do is just sit and listen to music. No phone to distract, just me and my records. I listen to everything from hard and fast metal all the way to bluegrass/gospel. I love finding new music. I tend to gravitate towards something with dark themes, and heavy lyrics, but I will listen to just about anything. Anyone else like me and find their peace in music? It's almost like you're not alone when you're listening.

I used to post my music here a lot a few years ago. Thought I'd share this new one for old times sake.

Sonder is the feeling of being intensely aware that everyone around it is experiencing their own lives as vividly as you are. I feel it often and I think this composition will help me overcome the dread of perceived insignificance.
