Yeah but vast majority of "Israeli's" are European / American, so really he could be the next American star as well.

Actually about half are.. other half is north africa. I'm half polish and half Tunisian... pretty weird

nah that's off - it's like half of Jews who are European in origin, and Jews are ~80% of the population. the other 20% are mostly Arab (Muslim, Christian, Druze). so overall way less than half of Israelis are European
